Aiden was very courteous, professional and EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the product. I would definitely purchase a vehicle from Aiden again! Sadly, we did find, after delivery, that there were four vertical dents on the drivers side of the truck bed. It is suspected that these dents were incurred during shipping to the dealership from the manufacturer and were just never noticed until the vehicle was thoroughly cleaned for delivery during the sales phase. A paint-less dent repair was done at the dealership and was successful in restoring most of the dents but they are still noticeable if viewed from a different angle. I believe that the only other option to resolve these dents would entail bodywork and paint and in my experience, aftermarket body work never is as good as the factory paint job and can lead to issues down the road. We also identified a rattle in the inner tailgate after delivery. This reportedly was found to be an issue with a loose cable inside the tailgate and was resolved by the service department at the dealership. There were marks in the interior of the vehicle on the drivers side grab handle, on the dash and on the center console. These appeared to be tape residue left from the interior packing materials that were not cleaned up during the delivery phase. These were fairly easily removed. Lastly, there was a $2500 dollar charge presented during the sales phase that was for exterior Triton protection package and sealants that were applied without our knowledge. In accordance with the Sierra Denali 1500 Owners Manual, on page 410, under the section titled "Finish Care" it clearly states that "Application of aftermarket clearcoat sealant/wax materials is not recommended." According to the dealership this Triton product is applied to all of their vehicles. I have seen complaints from other customers on the same issue and frankly this feels a bit deceptive. A reduction of the cost was applied during the sale but we were still left with an $1895 charge that we did not expect. I would highly recommend that if this protection package is an item that the dealership insists on, then it should be declared on the window sticker as a "Dearer Installed Option", otherwise it would be best to offer it to the customer during the sales phase. All in all, this purchase was on par with other vehicles I have purchased over the past forty plus years. It seems that there are always issues to attend to with every new car purchase. With luck, I hope to make this the last vehicle purchase and plan to run this one to the end of the road! More
