Break down in Mitchell, SD Adam was so kind and helpful. Our DEF system failed and our Ford F350 was shutting down. We stayed over. They loaned us a car and we felt we were in g Adam was so kind and helpful. Our DEF system failed and our Ford F350 was shutting down. We stayed over. They loaned us a car and we felt we were in good hands. Everyone was so kind. They priced it upfront no hidden fees. The mechanic talk to my husband was very honest and kind. Hate to break down but best place to do so. Great people. Waiting area was very nice. Cookies, coffee, slush machine, soda and popcorn. What else could you ask for. 10/10 More

Excellent Service Department My wife and I were traveling from Pennsylvania to Mitchell SDto visit our Son, and then head to the Badlands for some camping with our 20ft Travel tra My wife and I were traveling from Pennsylvania to Mitchell SDto visit our Son, and then head to the Badlands for some camping with our 20ft Travel trailer being pulled by our New 2018 Ford F150 2.7 Ecoboost Motor. As We exited the Interstate in Sioux City Iowa our F150 died in the intersection and would not restart for a few minutes, and continued to have problems related to the Auto Start Stop function, which should be disabled automatically when towing a trailer, As we approached Mitchell I called Vern Eide Ford and Spoke with Brian in service, and he said they were very busy, but if I could be here the next day at 8am they would scan the truck and try and find the problem. The next Day I was greeted by Adam in Service and he knew exactly what was wrong, and said they would have to reprogram the computer and we should be good to go. Well he was correct, he had us out in 45 mins and on our way. We would like to Thank Vern Eide for Exceptional Customer Service that they provided us !! More

They are so friendly, helpful and genuinely enjoy what they do. Hey everyone, this is the place to go if you need a car! We highly recommend dealing with Nate S and Chris B to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle from a dealership that is fair and honest in its practices. They and the entire staff (including Adam H in the Parts & Service Department) were very knowledgeable about the new F-350 Diesel Lariat we bought. Finance side was very easy (and actually WAY too much fun). We're very happy with what they paid for our trade in and the entire "final numbers" process. We drove from St. Paul, and let us tell you, it was well worth the 5 hour drive one way for the best deal we found after having searched the internet for several hours. Thanks again to the "rock star" crew at Vern Eide Ford! More

I called when I was about 10 miles outside of Mitchell and Adam was very helpful on telling me the easiest route to their location, said they could get me in right away, and when I pulled in he told Pam exactly where I was going and she took me right back to get my info and to the lounge. They were both so friendly and welcoming! Thank you! More

Excellent customer service. I was traveling from northern Wisconsin to Gillette Wyoming for a new work assignment. I own a 2011 Ford Focus with almost 100,000 miles. This has b I was traveling from northern Wisconsin to Gillette Wyoming for a new work assignment. I own a 2011 Ford Focus with almost 100,000 miles. This has been the most trouble free vehicle I have ever owned. Before leaving Wisconsin I noticed the starter seemed a bit sluggish and I thought there may be a problem with the battery. I spent the first night in Eau Claire Wisconsin. The next morning the car still was slow to turn over and I knew that I had a problem with the battery. I decided to continue on with my plan to spend the night in Mitchell South Dakota. Arrived at 5:30 pm and checked in to a hotel and then located the Ford dealer in Mitchell, Vern Eide Ford Lincloln. I got there at 5:50 pm, ten minutes before closing and described my problem to Tami Winter who is a service advisor. I indicated that I would be happy to come back when they opened the next morning but she encouraged me to take care of it immediately. Jared tested the battery within 5 minutes and the test showed one of the battery's cell was bad. I had purchased a new 84 month Ford Motorcraft battery at Larry Miller Ford in Lakewood Colorado in December of 2013. I did not have my invoice with me and Tami suggested I call Larry Miller to retrieve the invoice from their computer records. I called my service advisor there, Ryan Doer, and within 5 minutes he located the invoice, printed it out and faxed it to Tami who then indicated the battery was still covered under warranty 100% parts and labor. Adam is the service manager at Vern Eide and Mike works in the parts department and determined that they had the same battery in stock. Jared installed the battery in less than 10 minutes and I was on my way. Tami, Jared, Mike and Adam all rallied to help me and stayed 40 minutes after closing to get me on my way. This saved me a huge hassle as I am certain the car would not have started the next morning at the hotel. This is why I and my family have been Ford customers for decades and why I will likely trade in my Focus on a 2017 Ford Fusion Platinum Hybrid in a few months. Kudos to all you wonderful people!! More

Outstanding oil change experience! I called and set up an appointment to have service work done on my F-150 and spoke with Adam he made me feel welcome and very accommodating to when wo I called and set up an appointment to have service work done on my F-150 and spoke with Adam he made me feel welcome and very accommodating to when would work for me. When I brought in my vehicle I can into the service office and checked my vehicle in with Jim he had a good sense of humor and made me feel welcome and that my truck would be taken care of. When it was done Jim called me and told me it was ready I came into the service department and was greeted by Adam and Erik they both were friendly as can be and made me feel like it was an honor to have my business. After I handled things in the service office I was thanked by everyone and happened to run into a sales manager Dan, he made sure I was happy with my experience and thanked me for my business. It was really awesome to deal with a company like this they made me feel like I was one of there best friends and that it was an honor to receive my business. It's hard to find service like that in theses times. I recommend Them to anyone you will feel great about your choice! I Normally dread getting my vehicle worked on but I cannot wait to return! More
