Poor prices. I had to lease the same car for $200 more a month. I only have 7,500 miles per year. A four hundred dollar car payment is ridiculous every month. Aaron is a fantastic resource for getting exactly what you need from Ford, he was attentive, remembered everything I needed in a vehicle and kept me in contact through the entire process. I cannot say enough about their sales staff, their sales floor management, and their accounting/billing department. I got exactly what I wanted at the price that was discussed, and that is a very rare thing out of any dealership. The only reason why Taylor Ford gets 3 stars is because i've had dealings with their service department in the past and they were, for a lack of a better term, a cluster. Didn't have replacement vehicles for a warrantied issue, didn't have an ETA when it would be done, kept the vehicle for a week and a half and then "Couldn't duplicate the problem." Quite literally got the vehicle back and on the way home, it shut down. I ended up fixing the problem myself out of pocket, and had to delay my Disney vacation by a week while I was working 12's and diagnosing the issue. This was a number of years ago, but our most recent was a recall on the door latches of an Escape. They told me again, no clue how long it's going to take. I asked them to just give me the parts and i'll do it as i'm a heavy equipment mechanic and can have it done in 10 minutes, against policy, can't do it, stall, stall, stall. Kept the vehicle for 2 days with no replacement vehicle for my wife to get back and forth to work, so their recall ended up costing my wife vacation time. Only to have the issue come back up because it was found by Ford Corporate that some service departments were writing in that it was fixed and then throwing the new parts away while keeping the old parts on. I HOPE this isn't the case but didn't check into the issue much myself. I will say that they have changed their service department quite a bit, (hopefully for the better) and they did reach out to me to see how they could make things right, but it's not like you can repay time lost from warrantied and recalled issues. You need something new? Go to Taylor Ford. You need something worked on for a recall or a warrantied item? Find another dealership. More
