I was born in Silvis, Illinois and currently reside in Moline. I graduated form Rockridge High School on 2001. My appreciation for the automotive industry came as a young child with my family also being in the automotive industry. I began my career at Zimmerman as a lot porter in 2002, and in 2004 was promoted to an entry level technician in the service department. With years of experience as a used vehicle technician and associated training, I accepted a new position as a Service Advisor in 2012, and most recently service manager in 2021. It is my priority to ensure your vehicle is serviced accurately and timely to make your experience in Zimmerman service an excellent one. I am an avid Cubs and Bears fan who enjoys taking in a game or two when I can get away. Maintenance I had them perform a routine maintence, that of replacing the timing belt and water pump. When I started to drive away I noticed an engine vibration I had them perform a routine maintence, that of replacing the timing belt and water pump. When I started to drive away I noticed an engine vibration that was not there before. Initially they were hesitant to to believe that it had anything to do with the worked they performed. There upon I agreed to drive it home in hopes that it was possibly a motor mount issue that would resolve itself. The next day I called the service consultant and he suggested that I bring it back for evaluation. They rechecked the timing and several other possible causes but to no avail. The vibration still persisted. And I was told that the worked performed was correct. So the tech asked me what I wanted them to do. I said please fix it. They then gave me a loaner car to return home. They called later saying basically they did all they could. But the vibration was still there!!! I assumed I would be picking up my car and just living with the vibration waiting for some future engine failure. But to my surprise I discovered that they believed my protests that the vibration was not there before. They reperformed the entire procedure and discovered the cause and corrected it. No more vibration. My faith in the adage the "customer is right" has been renewed. Those at Zimmerman Honda from the personal attention by the service consultant, mechanics even the owner himself made great effort to correct the problem. The Service Dept. resolve our door issue, which turned out to be resolved by resetting the door. They did not charge us for their time, although I was prepared to pay! Since then, we have had other maintenance items done including brakes, shocks and a timing belt. All work has been the highest quality, and they even took me to and from work while they were working on our van. Hats off to A.J. and others for The outstanding service experiences sold us on the idea that we needed to purchase our next vehicle from Zimmermans. I contacted Marty Curry via the Internet, and he walked us through the sales process after helping us find exactly what we were searching. Marty took extra time to ensure that we understood how to operate the CR-V. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable, and he genuinely cared that we got what we needed. Marty gets 5 out of 5 from us for an outstanding job! More
