I wouldn’t recommend this dealer to anyone I dealt with Ivan through email about a 2013 Toyota Tacoma. He was very helpful in answering all the questions in a fast and timely manner. I live 400 km away from Sherwood Park so I set up an appointment to come look at the truck and test drive it on Monday. When Monday came I went out looked at the truck it had a cracked windshield but he said they would change it for free and I agreed to purchase the truck. I put a deposit down and Owen had my financing looked after. He said I should have no problem getting approved on my own without a co-signer but this wasn’t the case. I returned home Monday to wait and find out when the financing was approved so I could go back out and get the truck. Tuesday went by and I heard nothing from Owen about my financing. On Wednesday morning Owen called saying I would need a co-signer so he emailed me the documents to sign and sent it back to him immediately after. I heard nothing the rest of the day or Thursday morning so I called Thursday afternoon at 2pm and Owen said he hasn’t even looked at the email yet and that he would call me back in an hour to tell me if the loan was approved I called at 5pm to ask if he had heard anything yet because I was wanting to get the truck Friday. He said he hasn’t heard anything yet and that he would call me by the end of the day. 8:30pm came along I haven’t heard a thing yet I called Owen said my financing was approved and that it was okay to come get the truck without my co-signer there. I made the 400km trip there to get the truck just to find out the windshield was not replaced as we agreed. Ivan took me into Owens office and brought John the sales manager into the office. He said he would give me a $250 credit for the windshield which was a complete joke because I recently replaced the windshield in my Silverado and it was $550. We sat in Owens office for one and a half hours filling out paper work and I finally had the keys in my hand. But then the director of finance Sneil came in saying we couldn’t take the truck and I made the 400km trip out there for nothing. I was outraged as he said it was okay to take the truck without the co-signer. Sneil agreed to have the truck delivered. I left empty handed. Ivan called the following Monday to say he would only bring the truck half way and I would have to come get it at 9pm at night. I said that wasn’t going to work because it was ridiculous so I decided to make another 400km trip out there to get the truck. I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone the customer service is horrible and once they have your deposit good luck getting a hold of anyone with any questions or concerns you have. After my experience with this dealer I honestly don’t know how they are even still in business. More

Ryian asked me questions to narrow down what I wanted and still gave my mind an opportunity to know the difference to what I "Want" and the car "Need" I was being a hardball in the end but he stayed professional, patient and smiled. I'll never forget the service and friendliness Ryian had provided! Ryian again, I thank you for my new car Bliss. I'm expecting on going to lots of adventures with her and yes she's a beautiful beast. More

Service Department Ineptitude Brought our 2009 Corolla XRS in to have our winter tires replaced with our summer tires and to have a LOF and transmission fluid flush completed. Dealership had a special on to replace windshields which we took advantage of. My fiancee picked the car up later that day and noticed that the rain drip moulding along the passenger side doors had come loose. She had to pull over on the Henday (in the rain) and grab it to prevent it from flying away or causing an accident. She got home and the tire pressure sensor started going on and off. Checked the levels and they were all fine. Contacted the dealership and the earliest they could accommodate us was six days - service tech "admitted" to me that they had overbooked their service appointments badly and were trying to catch up. Booked the appointment on April 24th for today and requested that my fiancee be listed on the shuttle into the city. Fiancee dropped the car off this morning right on time and had to wait 70 MINUTES for the shuttle. She arrived almost two hours late for work at a busy mental health clinic and has been warned that she could face reprimand. We purchased our car from the SPT location in 2013 and dealt with Bob Thompson who was great. The service department appears totally uncoordinated and inept. Service isn't completed properly, very likely because of overbooking and the desire to try getting as many vehicles serviced ASAP. Quality and customer service certainly take a back seat in comparison to the dealership trying to process as many vehicles in as short a time possible. This is the second time that we have had to bring our Corolla in for a SECOND time because service was not carried out properly. We won't be returning to SPT and will not be recommending the dealership to anyone. - A 15-year former Toyota customer More

Offered 2 years of free Oil changes I bought my car here last year. There were some issues (bald tires, burnt out break lights, missing tire pressure sensors, dirty interior and exterio I bought my car here last year. There were some issues (bald tires, burnt out break lights, missing tire pressure sensors, dirty interior and exterior). After posting a negative review to this site, Dave the sales manager agreed to give me 2 years of free oil changes, full detail and replace the missing tire sensor (that they knew was missing all along, but thought it would be easier to lie to me and say the tires were low on air, not that they were missing the sensor) as long as I removed my review from this site. So I changed my review to a positive one. Several months later I called to get the missing tire sensor and free oil change. I was told there was nothing mentioned on my file. I complained and Dave called me back. Dave said they didn't give me the free oil changes because my review was still on the site and he was looking at it (clearly he was lying as my negative review WAS removed). Stay away from these crooks. They sell unsafe cars and don't follow through on their word. This is the worst dealership I've dealt with. More
