Overpromised and underdelivered We purchased a 2020 Jeep Cherokee Limited. this dealer did not have the colour we wanted but said they can get the colour of our choice. We signed the purchase agreement on June 30th to take advantage of employee pricing discount. I was told delivery would be July 4th. I called on July 3rd to get a status and was told the dealer found the car and was securing the delivery. Next promised delivery was July 8th. I informed the dealer that they had the exact same vehicle listed in their website and asked why that wouldn't be offered. I was told that the vehicle listed in the website was actually already booked to another customer. Upon checking, i was told that that vehicle wasn't in the lot. I then searched for the vehicle and found it at another local dealership and told Pickering Chrysler to tell me if they can't deliver so that i can go to the other Dealership (Village Chrysler). I was finally told that they were dealing with Village Chrysler to get the vehicle but was having issues securing the vehicle. I was then promised that Pickering Chrysler will find us the vehicle of our choice and to give them July 13th to secure the vehicle. July 13th came and was told they found the vehicle and it will be delivered no later than July 17th. The vehicle was delivered but i was not given all of the employee benefits discounts originally promised to me on June 30th. I was told that the vehicle did not come with the alpine speakers but on delivery date, it was listed on the purchase agreement so there was confusion as to what speakers came with the vehicle. A senior sales rep was asked to verify the speaker installed. The senior sales rep went to the vehicle with me, turned on the stereo and proceeded to crank up the volume. He then turned to me and said, "yes these are alpine speakers" because his reason was that he could tell the difference just by listening. This was the worst car purchase experience in my 30 years of purchasing new cars. There was no incentive given to make up for the delay in delivery and i was made to feel that i was asking for too much when i questioned the accuracy of the purchase agreement. I lost the benefit program of no payments for 120 days. They removed some of the employee pricing program through no fault of mine. I was told that to compensate for this, they would offer 0% financing but when the purchase agreement was revised, i was given 0.99% financing and was told the 0% did not qualify on the terms i selected. I was misinformed of the terms as i was told i would benefit from 0% financing. Attention to detail was not exercised during this transaction. More

They had forgotten to install them on pickup. .This is my second vehicle with Devaughn and 6th with Pickering and I am encouraging others to use Devaughn , a real down to earth honest guy on their next purchase.. I bought a 2017 Ram truck back In August 2019 from Pickering Chrysler, my experience was great. The sales rep Riley did a great job selling. I went in there looking at a basic Ram SXT quad. Of course Pickering Chrysler, my experience was great. The sales rep Riley did a great job selling. I went in there looking at a basic Ram SXT quad. Of course he gets me to sit in a 2017 Ram Sport quad. I was hesitant in the fact it was going to be about 6k over what I wanted to spend after taxes. But Riley and Jake the sales manager convinced me of resale value and I was sold. I want to give a great big thanks to Joanne, she was the person to finalize the paperwork and try to sell me a warranty. Like I said I was already 6k over my original budget. So I declined the extended warranty and she began explaining how the sport model was very expensive to work on due to all the electronics, the electronic dial transmission etc. That I would have to buy the extended warranty because I wouldn’t be able to work on it myself and or take it to a regular mechanic and only a Chrysler dealership could work on it, with their special tools. I wont lie she helped me make the best decision. I backed out of the Ram Sport deal and bought the Ram SXT. No camera, no dial transmission, no 8”screen. A very basic model, but it sits 6 people, has towing hitch, side steps, tonneau cover, chrome bumpers and still a V8 Hemi. So At the end of the day I was $3000 under my budget and I still have a great truck with low km, and like I told my wife. No one needs the bells and whistles . We put the $3000 onto our mortgage. I would 100% recommend Pickering Chrysler, they definitely look out for your best interests, whether its intentional or not. More
