Only area that should be reviewed by the mgmt. team is the approach to the sales strategy, ie they are very focused on bi-weekly and monthly payments calculations vs what the customer is paying in the overall price. Maybe this is the strategy by the mgmt. but should not skew the buying decision of the purchaser. I am not sure of the name of the Admin person but she was also great to deal with. 2016 Hyundai Tucson My family and I have been Honda people for as long as I can remember. Then my fiance (now my wife) came along and bought a Hyundai Elantra. If I had i My family and I have been Honda people for as long as I can remember. Then my fiance (now my wife) came along and bought a Hyundai Elantra. If I had it my way she would have bought a Honda Civic, but I had to admit that I was pleasantly surprised with how stylish and well designed the Elantra was. When we started shopping for a new SUV this year we decided to look at Honda, Toyota, and Hyundai. The sales persons at Honda and Toyota were extremely off putting (a first for me at a Honda dealership) and there were a few things that we didn't like about the CR-V and Rav 4. We turned our attention toward the Sante Fe and while there were still a few things that we didn't like about it, we still preferred it over the CR-V and Rav 4 and the new model year was only a few months away with rumours of a minor face lift that may address our concerns. While researching the changes that were coming to the Sante Fe we stumbled across the completely re-designed Tucson. It looked great, it was bigger, it had every safety feature we wanted, and they improved on the few things that we didn't like about the Sante Fe. We decided to wait for the Tucson and our sales person, Andrew McCullough, was great at keeping us in the loop. We pre-ordered a Tucson as soon as they were available and it arrived a few weeks earlier than expected. Once again I had to admit that I was surprised with how stylish and well designed a Hyundai vehicle was. We ended up buying the Tucson and after a month of ownership our only regret is buying it too soon. There were no promos when our Tucson arrived and since then there has been one after the other, including one for a free 7 year/120,000 km warranty. Unfortunately the dealership will not honour the promo for us, citing unexpected costs for body work on our trade in that "ate away in some of our profit". Next time just tell me no, don't tell me its because you (allegedly) incorrectly assessed the value of my trade in. Anyways, lesson learned. Next time we'll wait for the promos, but you wouldn't think it would be an issue after paying nearly $50,000 for the top model of a brand new vehicle with several dealership add ons. I'm sitting on the fence of whether I would recommend this dealership or not, but aside from the issue with the promo, which has really left a sour taste in the mouth, our experience has been otherwise positive. Car Servicing without an appointment I had an emergency, lacked audio in the vehicle. Arrived at service dept. at 5.00pm and explained problem to service tech who came outside and wiggl I had an emergency, lacked audio in the vehicle. Arrived at service dept. at 5.00pm and explained problem to service tech who came outside and wiggled wires going into fuse box which in turn made the car audio work. Went home very pleased but following morning started car no audio. Back to service dept. and without an appointment was able to have car taken care of which included a "hard reset" of the audio system which has worked ever since without a problem. If I had to take it too the dealer where the car was purchased, they could not because of the weekend give me an appointment for 5 days. Mic Fronteddu was the Service Advisor who helped me keep my car on the road and convinced me that Murray Hyundai would now be care giver of my 2012 Sonata. More
