We were greeted with a friendly smile and a hearty hand shake from Jack Punnett, who was very friendly and welcoming right from the start. We were looking to buy or purchase a new vehicle to replace our older vehicle and we were shown a wide selection of new vehicles that fit our current needs. We decided to go with the 2015 Ford Escape SE which was the best SUV that we had looked at during our visits to several dealerships. Jack went over the many options that the Escape comes with and explained each one in detail. He was very knowledgeable and well versed in the specifications and options that were available with the Escape. We were given the opportunity to take the Escape for a test drive and we fell in love as soon as we left the lot. The Escape was definitely a step up from our previous SUV which we traded in to Erinwood Ford. Our experience while trading in our old vehicle was also a great one. We had the pleasure of dealing with Nick Palalas who is the Director of Sales and Marketing at Erinwood Ford. Nick was very welcoming and made us feel like family. I am 70 years old, have bought many vehicles in my life, but most of my purchases were private because I just did not want to deal with salespeople. Orlando has changed my opinion of car salespeople. His quiet confident sales manner and professional behavior made the purchase of my vehicle a pleasant experience. He was knowledgeable about the details concerning the vehicle I purchased, but what impressed me most was the fact that he took the time to get to know me and something about my life. As we talked he would find "common ground" where our lives, families or interests intersected. I felt like I was dealing with a friend. I was very comfortable with his description of the vehicle that I was purchasing and I did not feel anything remotely like a "hard sell" attitude on his part. I had some contact with several other staff members at Erinwood Ford and every single person was courteous, helpful and professional. I am very impressed with the corporate culture of this organization and would not hesitate to do business with them again.
