Worst experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. In April 2022 my husband and I purchased a 2022 Hyundai Kona. We specifically requested a 4 wheel (all wheel) drive. They offered a decent trade i In April 2022 my husband and I purchased a 2022 Hyundai Kona. We specifically requested a 4 wheel (all wheel) drive. They offered a decent trade in value for my older vehicle so signed the deal. Got vehicle home and quickly realized this was a 2 wheel drive. Got sales person who apologized profusely and luckily had just received a 4 wheel drive. Insurance and registration had to be cancelled then reissued for new 4 wheel drive vehicle. Used our line of credit for purchase as the interest rate was lower than Hyundai Credit. However, we also purchased a Platinum package for just over $3000.00. They would not take cash for it and said we had to finance amount for 6 months only. I was not happy about that but agreed. Last payment should have been in October however, come November another payment was taken from our account. Went in to complain and was assured they would handle it. December another payment was debited from our account. Now, they have taken $1124.30 extra from us. The incompetence from this dealership is unbelievable. Was called the week before Christmas saying there was a cheque for me. It was for $1000.00. I want the rest of my money. What are they playing at? Also, purchased winter tires. When I picked up the vehicle they had put locking wheel nuts on each tire. I asked where the key was so that we would be able to change the tires. They said we should have it. 2 different techs searched the vehicle and couldn't find the key. We were then told that we would have to pay for 4 regular wheel nuts if we wanted them changed. We advised them that, no, we weren't paying for those. They ended up changing them out at no charge. Still waiting for the balance owing from the 2 extra payments. Not impressed at all and will never purchase another vehicle from this dealership. All staff are very pleasant but resolution of any issues is hard fought and not won yet. Not worth the headache, that is for sure. Angel from service was apologetic and helpful. Denny remembered us and got Nam to call me, however, Nam does not reply to voice mails and is very hard to nail down. BK from sales was very apologetic about the 2 wheel drive vs. 4 wheel drive mix up. More
