William took the time to show me a new bed cover that is far better than the one I had on my previous truck so I could see how it worked and make a decision based on my needs. Tut Edwards in finance was friendly, informative and thoroughly went over the financing of my new truck. He explained the different options for the warranty and then allowed me to decided which options I wanted for warranty. He also made sure I had all of the deals and discounts available to me for being a loyal Ford owner. Oh my goodness--what a pleasant buying experience! What a refreshing, positive car-buying experience with 5 Star Ford in North Richland Hills! I had just had a terrible experience with the "largest volume Chevy dealer in Dallas" and walked out of that dealership when they refused to honor the price on their web site (which was also the discount that they had painted on the window of the car). While in the parking lot of that dealership, I called 5 Star Ford and spoke with William May. William was very friendly and professional. The Ford Fiesta advertised on the 5 Star Ford website was no longer available (was in the process of being sold), but 5 Star Ford offered another comparably equipped car for the same price. We drove down 820 as fast as we could. The sales process could not have gone smoother. They honored the price they made on the phone; they didn't try any hard sales tactics; no shifty attempts at upselling. Everything was above board and professional. Finance was straightforward and lasted just a few minutes. I had arranged outside financing and they were good with that. Again, no shifty processes. This was truly the most positive car buying experience I have ever had. More

First Car Buying Experience When I went to the dealer, I was quickly assisted by a very competent and kind salesperson. He was quick to take the lead when I told him this was my first car buying experience and pointed me to cars that were in my budget without being pushy. He patiently answered all my questions (I had a lot) and was very respectful of my lack of car-buying experience. He even stayed until about 10:00pm to make sure that I was getting the service I needed. The financing person I spoke with was a fun personality and also was very willing to work with me. Everybody patiently worked with me over several days until I was ready to buy the car. My only complaints of this car-buying experience was that it felt a little rushed, so it was hard to keep up with all that was going on (that might just be because I haven't done it before). Additionally, the financing person I spoke with talked too fast and kept changing numbers because items were left out of calculations or he misspoke, which made it hard to track what my cost were and made it difficult at times to make a decision. Overall, though, it was a great first-time car-buying experience. More
