"Great job but too long of a wait" I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and a detail for my Tahoe. Upon arrival, I was greeted and advised to remain in my vehicle due to the ne I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and a detail for my Tahoe. Upon arrival, I was greeted and advised to remain in my vehicle due to the new COVID-19 protocols. When I spoke with service adviser Vladimir about the detail, he advised that for a full detail it would require several hours and I would need to leave the vehicle. After some discussion, we determined that I really only needed a "quick clean" and that I could wait as this would not take nearly as long. Unfortunately, I still waited 4 1/2 hours!!! The one and only update to my vehicle's status was the one that I initiated. Apparently, my service adviser was unaware that they had gotten backed-up. However, they did a great job on the wash and all of the staff were very nice. One gentleman saw me waiting outside and came out to bring me a bottled water. More

It was awful. If you can avoid Jim Ellis Chevrolet please do. You will wait for 3 hours before any type of update and you will only get that update if you call the service manager(Vladimir was the most helpf do. You will wait for 3 hours before any type of update and you will only get that update if you call the service manager(Vladimir was the most helpful and he wasn’t my service advisor). Other than that I doubt I’d return to Jim Ellis at all. So much for putting people first. 0/10 would not recommend. (If I could give 0 stars I would but unfortunately that is not an option) They give you a number you can text to receive updates from your service advisor but they won’t reply so it’s pointless. More
