I had my RAV4 in for service at Phillips Toyota yesterday. I’ve been in The Villages over 3 years and have been servicing my car there. While I was waiting I received a text message from their sale yesterday. I’ve been in The Villages over 3 years and have been servicing my car there. While I was waiting I received a text message from their sales dept if I was interested in trading my car in. They gave me a price range of what my car was worth. I responded with a figure that was higher and they accepted it. I met with Senior Sales Associate Shawn Ismani who made the process seamless. He was knowledgeable, polite, kind, listened to my needs and made the transaction happen. Shawn made this an overall fun experience. He turned me over to their financial manager Tom Pardo. Tom was such a pleasure to deal with. Knowledgeable, kind, answered all my questions. What a wonderful experience this was from start to finish. I have an 2004 Ford truck and a 1997 Toyota Avalon. I have a private owner to buy my '97 Avalon. I was interested in eventually upgrading both vehicles, but the car right away. I went to a Ford dealers I have a private owner to buy my '97 Avalon. I was interested in eventually upgrading both vehicles, but the car right away. I went to a Ford dealership first, but they had no options for a gently used car. At Philips Toyota, I worked with the salesman Jamie Reed. He was very knowledgeable, non pushy, polite and patient. Although I owned an older Avalon, I wasn't sure exactly what car I wanted. He showed me 3 different vehicles and I test drove all 3. The 2020 Avalon was a dream to drive! No road noise, smooth ride, fantastic safety features, just perfect! I put a small deposit down and wanted to think about it overnight. The next day I went back and bought the Avalon. Tom Prado helped me close the deal and he is also a wonderful pleasure to work with! Then I looked at the Toyota trucks. They have an awesome deal on a brand new 2024 Toyota Tacoma. After I sell my '97 Avalon, I will return to Philips Toyota for a Tacoma. I have never had such a fun, exciting yet serious experience at a vehicle dealership in my life. They are truly quality and experienced people who work at Philips Toyota. I have and will recommend them to my friends and anyone who will listen!
