I have lived in Delaware since 1998, originally from a small town in upstate NY. After High School I entered the United States Air Force where I had a distinguished and rewarding career as a K-9 handler. After 10 years of serving my country and receiving an honorable discharge, I made the hard choice to start a new career, which enabled me to spend more time with my wife and two boys. I enjoy working for this dealership and have been a Ford Truck guy all my life!

The staff at Carman were excellant, they were helpful ,professional and answered all our questions. I would reccomend this dealership to everyone. wonderful people and will most likely go back in the fut ,professional and answered all our questions. The only negative involved in the whole process was the inability or inacuracy of Ford to deliver the car on the date promised. In this again the dealership personel were excellent in keeping us informed and tracking down our new car. More

Jeff Satterly and the Carman managers were all very nice and easy to work with. The price for the new car and the trade were both fair, financing was easy with Ford Credit. The bussiness manager was very and easy to work with. The price for the new car and the trade were both fair, financing was easy with Ford Credit. When I pulled into Carman Ford I was met by Jeff as soon as I walked got out of my vehicle. He was friendly and not a typical pushy salesman that I have met in the past at other places. I explained to him what I was looking for and he new the inventory on the lot very well and took me to the truck that I had my mind set on. I would have never been able to afford that 2012 F150 without the help of Jeff, Todd, trade in folks and finance department. I explained what I was willing to spend and drove out a few hours later with the truck. With the rebates, trade in and lower interest rate they were able to meet my financial limitations. Exceptional customer service by everyone at Carman and even the people I wasn't directly dealing with were friendly. I will always recommend Carman to others and I will be back in the future for the state of the art service center and future vehicles. "Excellent Job" More

We went to every Ford dealership within the county. Sat down and worked the numbers at all of them. The first place was just insulting. Porter Ford would only deal with what they had on the lot, which was down and worked the numbers at all of them. The first place was just insulting. Porter Ford would only deal with what they had on the lot, which was not what we wanted. They kept saying they were making us great offer. We'll get back it that toward the end. The second place we went to, Sheridan Ford, made a decent deal. They went out and found what we wanted at another dealer out-of-state, which took about a day and a half. We just couldn't agree on the trade in. They don't deal with older models and said it would go right to the auction and they wouldn't make as much off of it. Both my wife and I felt comfortable with deal, but thought that the trade in was worth twice as much so we went to Carman Ford. I contacted Dan Giacchino by email and he gave me the internet price. Which was $2,000 lower than the other two dealerships right from the start. Then I went in talked to Mr. Satterly about getting exactly what we wanted. There weren't many Edges with the 302A package with the colors we wanted, but he found three in about 10 minutes. We talked about some discounts, service plans and the trade in. There was no haggling, no frustration and they never mentioned their profit or lack therefore. That was the one thing that really turned me off of Porter Ford. The sales manager kept talking about how it cost them money to go get what we wanted and that they would "hook us up" with a deal on what they had on their lot. That price for just the vehicle was more than what I paid with everthing; Taxes, tags, extended warranty and the maintenance plan! And it was for the 301A, not the 302A package. Again, insulting. The one thing that impressed me more than anything else at Carman was the fact that Mr. Satterly and Mr. Brabender stayed with us for more than an hour past closing (almost 10pm) to review all of the features and setup the Sync with our phones. I was very impressed with these gentlemen. It showed they actually cared. Customer Service seems to be a lost art nowadays, but not at Carman Ford. I just want to say thank you to them for making that extra effort. More

My husband and I were very apprehensive driving to the dealership for out first visit. We did not want to be pressured to buy right off the bat. We've done this before and didn't want to do it again. We were not pressured and were treated with respect. Todd and Lawrence were very knowledgable and patient with all of my questions and understanding that I wanted to do additional research. On our second visit we were assisted by Mike and he worked very hard to get us what we wanted and needed. We are very satisfied and extremely happy with our vehicles. Mr Miller was also very helpful with all the important paperwork. Staff at Carman Ford are very professional and we highly recommend them. Thanks! More

Only complaint is each time I called the dealership, it took 15 to 18 rings for someone to pick up the phone. The staff was friendly and helpful with great follow up.
