Nash sold me a used 2019 Silverado with a leaky sunroof, leaky third taillight, and was full of mold! Returned it to the dealership. GM told me he couldn’t unwind the deal but would purchase the truck bac leaky third taillight, and was full of mold! Returned it to the dealership. GM told me he couldn’t unwind the deal but would purchase the truck back but I would be out taxes, tag and title. Or, if I purchased another car he credit me the taxes, tag and title on a new or used vehicle. After pursuing the lot which had slim pickings I decided to sell back the truck and take the hit on taxes. The GM reneged the offer. Told me I had to schedule an appointment to have the truck fixed or buy something. Having a 9 and 2 year old I couldn’t let them sit in the backseat where the mold was. I had no confidence in Nash’s ability to remediate the mold. Nor any faith that I wouldn’t have future electrical issues due to the leaks. The GM claim ignorance to the trucks issues stating the truck, which was previous sold by Nash three separate times and had all the servicing done there, was unaware of the issues because they rushed to get the truck on the sales lot. Note, I had to pay for the emissions test because it wasn’t done by the dealership - I still haven’t been reimbursed. My interpretation is they cut corners in a rush to make a profit and ignored protocol by not doing their due diligence at their time of purchase. I have email correspondence between the GM and myself. The GM mostly accusing me for the trucks check engine light (said I probably use cheap gas) and for the mold (said my kids probably spilt their juice box). The closest / comparable vehicle was a 2023 Trail Boss. The GM claimed he was personally going to work the numbers up and give me a deal. Other than my employer discount, CostCo discount and cyber bucks there was no price reduction…. But he worked the numbers to be $50/mnth more… with 84 month financing (vs 72 on the 2019 truck)… but after seven hours shot at the dealership what choice did I have…? Other displays of incompetence… I told the sales rep the paperwork on the 2023 truck was wrong because they were charging me for a second documentation fee…. I marked through it on the paperwork but was still charged. Sales rep told me I was wrong. A few weeks later I had to resign the paperwork because they overcharged me on the doc fee. Which further delayed the processing of my registration and accrued weeks of interest on the 2019 loan before the paid it off. Lastly, when my check engine light came on the GM told me not to take the car to another Chevy dealership as the repairs would not be covered under the bumper to bumper warranty I had purchased through them because it was within the first 30 days. I would not recommend Nash to anyone. They have zero ethics and integrity. . More
