Sales: (See latter part for updates) Iwould have to caution anyone choosing to purchase a vehicle from Van Chevrolet to pay very close attention to financing terms and total cost of vehicle. The pandemic was even used as a tool as to why I may not get the incentives offered on website!” These trucks are going for full asking price” type of thing! I did not have the best experience here. The staff was friendly enough but like a friend that may or may not have your best interest in mind. The whole process was very unorganized in my opinion and tales of my truck coming in by rail got old. Like the case with a previous reviewer “EM” on this website, the truck I showed up to deal on was not there and in “extended inventory” whatever that meant. Any financial errors made to the contract were always in the dealerships favor and by large amounts. The “I don’t know why we can’t give you answers”responses were joke given such a well established business! I am guilty of not paying close enough attention to all of the moving parts involved with the purchase. I was guilty in assuming a level of trust and integrity could be had. I would highly recommend that if you are going to pay $495 for window tint, ensure you are getting 5 windows tinted and not just the driver and passenger door and not just privacy glass! I feel the teams are well insulated from each other or play that card intentionally. Very ambiguous answers when discussing discrepancies with dollar amounts. Having to sign and resign contracts for errors is unprofessional after two times and seems intentional as well. Given the opportunity I would definitely go elsewhere. BUYER BEWARE! Good news is I did get a nice truck after the negative experience. If anyone wants documented proof reach out to me. Good luck! Update: Owner response was to contact Becky or Anna in customer service (haha see this “robot” reply on most negative experiences! Why don’t they reach out and call us? They have our information!!)Well I did and got Becky’s voicemail over a week ago. I left a message and have yet to receive a call back. Sounds like an easy reply was made to satisfy the public audience reading this. I’ll update if I receive a phone call.update 9/10 still no call back 😁🤭what a joke! Update 9/23 no phone call from Becky or Anna to address my concerns as stated BUT I did just get a call from Nick asking ifI was still interested in buying a 2020 Silverado from Van Chevrolet....uhhh dude I did and would not again thanks! (12/13/20 no contact from dealership to talk about my experience but I did not assume they would. So far the service dept has not returned my call (Daniel Sanchez) after I left a vm for service figuring they may run different than sales. Also no email response 🤦♂️. I would also suggest because I wish I had the presence of mind that when if you agree to warranty, mine was 100k. Ask that the warranty begin after the factory warranty ends at 36k or reduce the price by 34% since that’s what GM is covering during the 100k extended warranty. No sense wasting money for double coverage the first 36k.12/14 Van service department is just as bad as the sales experience! Unfriendly, took over two hours to get my oil changed and tires rotated and yes I had an appointment. They lost my valve stem caps (after market) second time. When I received the survey after the experience I gave them first chance to reach out and I asked them to call me for feedback and they never did. Such a joke! I would stick to my recommendation to stay away from Van Chevrolet! Service I have had my truck serviced here several times the thought is service shouldn’t be scored with sales. The service experience is rapidly approaching the same poor rating. I have not had but probably 1/4 of my appointments actually go through. Most of the time I get there after doing either a phoned in appointment or an appointment booked online. They always seem to get lost and the customer suffers. This week I tried to book an alignment after getting it check last week while in service. I called twice first of the week and left a message for John Felt for the target of getting an alignment this morning. Left a message, not one call back and I am still in need of an alignment. I guess for the most part business must be too good to not want my business or serve the customer. I will have to go elsewhere. I’m not saying all was negative, but the positive was very few and far between. I’ve experienced what service should be when I take my Infinity into the Infinity dealership for service. My truck gets jealous. I wish they serviced GM. Decide for yourself. This is my honest review and my experience. Convince me otherwise Van. More

Got put through a meat grinder at 3 other stores, showed up at Van, met Scott. That's when I found out where I should have gone first. Scott Daly is the pinnacle of professionalism when looking to buy a c up at Van, met Scott. That's when I found out where I should have gone first. Scott Daly is the pinnacle of professionalism when looking to buy a car. We all know how hard it is to buy a car, especially right now with all the crazy stuff going on. Scott made the process fast, easy, and NORMAL. He treated me like a friend, called 3 times before taking delivery (I had a few things installed) and had my new truck ready for Christmas Eve just like promised. He has a customer for life here. Thank you Scott, Danny the manager, Sammy the Finance guy, and Matt Cerreta the General Manager. Great team! More

After receiving an email from the General Manager, asking me about my experience, I wrote the following email, and as expected, did not receive a response. “ My primary home is in Denver and my second hom me about my experience, I wrote the following email, and as expected, did not receive a response. “ My primary home is in Denver and my second home in the Phoenix area, where I keep my 2009 Audi A4 Cabriolet for use when I am there. I was generally satisfied with the purchase, since Van was able to determine a trade in value for my car, without seeing it, as I found your Buick Encore on an Internet search while I was in Denver. What upsets me is that the Encore I found on your website was listed for $17,773. I reviewed your online photos, including a description of the car being Certified, with 172 point inspection, 12 months, 12,000 Limited Warranty, etc. When I began to purchase the car, I was fully expecting the normal $499 license, transfer, registration charge, but HIDDEN AND NOT DISCLOSED in the sales price were a $395 Zaktek charge and a $1202 MANDATORY Pre-owned Warranty charge. I was able to remove the Zaktek charge but I was told the Manager could not remove the $1202 charge. Since this car would only be used in the couple of months we are in Phoenix, this warranty was not needed. I am now paying $18,975 for a car that was advertised on your web site for $17,773. Not cool. As I am flying to Phoenix on July 7 to hopefully complete the purchase of a home, I needed to make a commitment to purchase an SUV for our move, so I agreed to purchase the car. I'll complete your online survey after I pick up the car but have not yet decided how I will respond. Having a background in sales, I deeply resent hidden charges. If you are going to advertise a car for $17,773 DO NOT LIST IN YOUR PHOTO SECTION that the car is certified, then charge for that certification.” I picked up the car on July 6 and the car wouldn't start. After having to jump-start the car the next day, they had to replace the battery and kept me waiting about 3 hours. After complaining, Van agreed to pay for a rental car. Follow up written on July 14, 2021. I received a canned response from Van, asking me to contact Customer Service. I called Customer Service and left a message to call me back to discuss my concerns. No surprise that I never received a call back. I'm a 73 year old gentleman who has purchased more than 40 cars and Van Chevrolet has the poorest Customer Service and communication I have ever dealt with. More

went to this dealership specifying 4x4 used PU. Led by the salesman to the first 2 both being 4x4, then a third which I bought. It was transported to another state and discovered NOT to be a 4x4! I imme the salesman to the first 2 both being 4x4, then a third which I bought. It was transported to another state and discovered NOT to be a 4x4! I immediately called 4 times and left 2 voice messages. No reply! Yesterday got ahold of the used car sales manager that told me "the PU is yours." We can find you another which will be more and may take some time. This is not good business or acceptable! I live on a ranch in NM.I have had several 4x4 PU's . Why would I purchase anything else having a ranch? I am a woman over the age of 60. Would that have anything to do with being mislead? I have reached out to the home office and the GM as I was mislead. I will not give up as I have PU that is no use to me. To date 8/12/21 No resolution. No phone calls calls returned. I have sent 3 complaint letters to coorporate. Amazing! A response from Van Chevrolet to the Attorney General says I was made an offer and refused! So they closed the file. The only offers made were to pay 7000 , or 4000. more for another vehicle which was not even the same make or model. Not only have I been mislead and misrepresented now they are lying to the Attorney Generals office. I received a call from the GM Bryan Hrabe Friday the 13th with a promise of resolution and to call me that same day. It never happened! Absolutely do not do business with this dealership! More
