Bait and switch We sat with Sammy Vela on a Saturday evening with our son who wanted to purchase a car for college. The rapport was excellent and we actually enjoyed our evening as we came to an agreement to purchase a vehicle. The agreement included a written statement that Baker Nissan would fix any major issues after the vehicle was reviewed by the mechanic. Our mechanic looked at it on Sunday and found codes the brake booster had produced fault codes and the ABS light on the dash came on while we had it. We provided these codes and pictures to Baker Nissan when we brought it back to them on Monday. We were told the battery needed to be replaced and Baker did that and said that may or may not fix the problem. We understood that was a first step in the trouble shooting and were prepared to take a written statement they would stand behind their agreement. Instead of offering to stand behind their deal, they said they had 3 more buyers for the car and if we did not want the car they would take it back. Needless to say the reputation of a used car sales man was truly represented as we made the mistake of trusting a large dealership like Baker to stand up and be reputable but we were completely let down. Do not trust these people .... get all of your vehicles completely inspected by a trusted source before you provide them your money..... It was truly an experience that went from great to piss poor once they had our money!!!! More

Shawn Kennedy is a fraud This salesman will lie about the vehicles condition. When caught, he promises to pay for repair - but won't. Even when another dealership put in writ This salesman will lie about the vehicles condition. When caught, he promises to pay for repair - but won't. Even when another dealership put in writing that he said he would pay, he still pleads ignorance. Negligent fraudulent misrepresentation was easy for this dealership. There is a big difference in stating that tire light is on because the sensor needs recalibrating vs. Sensors not even being there at all! Spare tire bad, lug and Jack not there, a.c. blower out in 10 miles, check engine light on before I even made it home, speedometer off by 7 mph. Steer clear and don't believe anything this place says. Even BBB promises werent kept by this place. With all of my written proof, I was basically called a liar to the BBB. These people should be in jail. If they do this to a disabled registered nurse (who believed in people), they will do this kind of behavior to anyone. More

Easiest vehicle purchase experience ever! Sammy Vela and Shawn Kennedy made my purchase of a 2011 Honda from their pre-owned inventory very easy. Shawn was willing to "negotiate" and Sammy wa Sammy Vela and Shawn Kennedy made my purchase of a 2011 Honda from their pre-owned inventory very easy. Shawn was willing to "negotiate" and Sammy was very cordial and helpful to get us to an agreement. Made my drive to Houston well worth the trip. Very nice facility too! I would recommend giving them a try. No one was pushy or overbearing like I have experienced in some situations. The finance and administration portion of the visit was easy and fast as well. Ephan was very personable and friendly. More

2013 mustang GT purchase I wanted my review to be a true voice of a customer . I was searching for a specific body type of a mustang GT 5.0 . And I found it on baker Nissan we I wanted my review to be a true voice of a customer . I was searching for a specific body type of a mustang GT 5.0 . And I found it on baker Nissan website . Took my 2015 mustang V6 and traded in and did the deal . Drove less than 9 miles to my house . The following day while I was shifting to second gear I noticed a huge clunk coming from the bottom of my car . So I called the dealership to get hold of my sales agent and told her about my concern . No follow up at all on the second day . I called multiple times the third day till I got a hold of Eric used sales manager . And indeed he said no problem bring it in ( great guy ) . However upon looking at the floors in my garage notice a oil drip coming near the rear diff . Took it to ford and they couldn’t believe that a car was sold under those conditions . I immediately took it in and their shop stated they inspected the car . There would have been no way a car would have been sold with only 33k miles on it in the condition it was sold under if they had done their inspection prior putting it in the lot . They did take the car in and did indeed change the seals , however the clunk and metal scraping from the gear box is still present . I’m taking my car to a specialized shop that can hopefully fix the problem . Baker Nissan states if you buy the car as is , that’s it they aren’t responsible . I have been dealing with Toyota for 5 years and never never did they turn their back on their customers . I hope this review reaches to any shopper that’s in the market to prevent them from dealing with this dealership . The GM isn’t present , but I hope he reads this review to fully understand what a family owned business is , it’s all about word of mouth , putting customers first , and unfortunately they didn’t . This will be my last visit to this dealership and definitely will continue sharing this experience with other shoppers in the market ! More

Shawn Kenndy Let me first say that I have bought 6 new cars here and 1 used over the years. I am a sales person nightmare because I buy a car the way I want too, not they way they want me too. Have always been happy. I recently bought a 2017 Nissian XD. when purchasing it there was a wheel issue that Randy Foust and Amanda took care of right away. I can not say enough about the following people I came in contact with. Iggy, Amanda , Randy Foust, Andy (service) and The finc man (Foust) The experience was great with these people. Then about 2 months later I went to buy my wife a Rouge. We were working with Iggy and Amanda (again great to work with) we finally settled on a Rouge that the wife would be happy with. This was a several day ordeal. Wife went back and forth on what she wanted. Which I was thankful for because it was her car. So on a Saturday we clean her trade and went to get the Rouge. Upon arriving at the dealship we found Iggy and negation started (Iggy and Amanda) so Iggy asked for the keys to my wife's car and had the appraiser take a look. (Trade in Altima 2015, 12000 miles, one heavy door ding) This is where the deal went south. Iggy came back to the table where my wife and I were and said 11k for the trade in because it had a bullet hole in the door. I said what, there not a bullet hole it was road debri from our great roads in Houston. I ask to speak with the appraiser and was told he did not speak to people. Amanda comes over and said she would get him. Now at this point several in the dealship heard him say this and people were talking about it and even went out to look. Yes I was aggravated to say the least. So at this point Shawn Kennedy enters the picture (appraiser) I ask him why he would make such a ridiculous coumment. He raised his voice and said that's what it was and I told him it was road debri and I told him again it was not in a load tone. (Iggy was close enough to hear this as well as my wife) Shawn stated it was a hole agin and I said let's go look at it. As we were walking out side door my wife decided to go sit out front. She Heard the following as well as Iggy and most in dealer ship. I was following Shawn out the door and was still asking him why he said it was a bullet hole he stopped and look at me and said in a loud voice I will quota "whip your xxx" we'll be the county boy I am I said get to whip $?&!!!!. He then said it was a hole in the door what diff did it make. I said you told the dealship. As well as it was not a hole. So I went in and talked to Amanda and Iggy. I ask what Bruce Baker sons name was. Chad if I remember right. I ask him if he was going to do any thing about the way Shawn Kennedy spoke to me and he ask me to leave. I asked if Mr. baker was there and he laughed at me. Which showed me he was not a mature manger, I have called to speak to Mr. Baker to no prevail. I would have bought the Rouge there after this happened if I would have received an apology from Shawn Kennedy. He must have had a bad Friday night. We did buy the Rouge a couple of days later from Fred Haas Nissian in Tomball. Again I would like to say Iggy, Amanda, Danny (service) always did above what you could expect. Shawn Kennedy and Chad Baker ( laughing) have to be the worst mangers I have ever seen. I have ran a sales group for 38 years this was totally uncalled for. I will also so I was pissed and did raise my voice, but I refuse to let any one make faults statement about anything in my life. I apologize to Iggy, Amanda , Danny in service. Because Danny had been helping me with a radio replacement and when this happened I told him I would not be doing biz with them. Louis Castillo is working with Fred Haas to have the radio installed there. ( radio was a factory defect this happen on all cars. Not a big deal) Wayne P.S we got 13k for the Altima at Fre Haas More

Engine issues with no help Don't buy here and don't use the service department!!! They sold me a car with engine problems they knew about. Finally it went next door to northwest dodge and now it sits needing a new engine and Baker won't help. Go somewhere else spend your money with honest people and not thieves!!! More

My "Go To" Dealership I've just leased my 3rd vehicle from the great team at Baker Nissan and as usual it was a pleasure doing business with these guys!!! My contact Shawn I've just leased my 3rd vehicle from the great team at Baker Nissan and as usual it was a pleasure doing business with these guys!!! My contact Shawn Kennedy, who I've known for several years and is an expert on used vehicles, put me in touch with the most awesome salesman Sammy Vela who helped me with my lease vehicle. He went above and beyond to make sure I found exactly what I was looking for. Rodney Crow was instrumental in making sure I got the perfect deal...and a great deal he gave me!!! When signing, all my questions were answered and details of the deal explained. Gio walked me through how everything functions on my new Rouge; he even took the time to sinc my phone via Bluetooth before I drove off :-D I can't say enough about how easy they made this experience....and it was super quick. I'm quite sure...as in the past...they'll see me on my next car shopping trip. Thank you guys for always taking such great care of me!!!! Shout out to Carl Baker for always being so welcoming, friendly and helpful!!! More

never again drove from austin tx to the dealership to look at a 2012 ram i saw online. was assured that the vehicle worked fine. two days later it refused to star drove from austin tx to the dealership to look at a 2012 ram i saw online. was assured that the vehicle worked fine. two days later it refused to start went back 30 minutes later and it started. i attributed that to cold morning weather. a month later it completely dies on me. after owning the vehicle for just 2 months it has spent 3 weeks sitting in my driveway. took it to a dodge dealer to get diagnosed and was told i needed a new alternator and tipm. called baker to discuss my problem and was bassically told that i should take the problem up with my lender who i bought an extended warranty from for not fully covering my repairs and not them who sold me a defective vehicle. As is means as is even if that means spending 16600 on a vehicle i can't use. More
