BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE I was in the market for a new car. Found that the Jeep gave a good discount with car insurance so I was sold on the jeep. Owning a Laredo before I kne I was in the market for a new car. Found that the Jeep gave a good discount with car insurance so I was sold on the jeep. Owning a Laredo before I knew I like the Jeep brand. I went for a loaded Cherokee. Shannon Guest helped me and made this experience the easiest and most painless ever in buying a car. HORRIBLE DEALERSHIP AND SALESMAN! If I could've given this 0 stars, I would've. Yesterday my father and I went to Matteson IL to South Oak Dodge to look at a beetle that we were assure If I could've given this 0 stars, I would've. Yesterday my father and I went to Matteson IL to South Oak Dodge to look at a beetle that we were assured was ding and dent free and in “perfect condition”. Mind you, we came from over 3 1/2 hours away. After arriving at the dealer we were given the keys by another salesperson to go look at the car. The minute we walked up to it we noticed a very large scratch on the left rear fender that had been touched up with a paint stick. Walking to the front of the car revealed the entire front bumper of the car had been repainted and had ZERO shine and felt like 100 grit sandpaper. Walking to the passenger side on top revealed a large area where the clear coat was gone, the rear fender another large scratch and “touch up” job. Our phone salesman walked up and my dad proceeded to ask him about all of the issues and he was like “what do you mean” what do you expect” it’s a used car”, its going to have that stuff”. We told him it was a mess and we wanted our deposit money back. Before we could hardly even say it he walked off and back inside. We followed him in and after 15+ more minutes we did at least get our deposit money back, barely even receiving a sorry or anything. I now know why the car was a 2013 with 10,000 miles on it...im thinking it spent a lot of its life setting in a body shop. With all of this being said if you are ever in the market for vehicles DO NOT go to South Oak Dodge and even more so DO NOT deal with Jim Matt. More

I never, ever will pay a dealer mark-up on any car (ADM). Every other CDJ dealer in the area was selling Hellcats for $5,000 over MSRP or more. Not South Oak; they had the Challenger I wanted, in the color I wanted with the options I wanted, on the showroom floor, for MSRP. Let me just say, the deal I got was very satisfactory. My journey began with a greeting by Shannon Guest, who then introduced me to Jesus (Zeus) Moldanado. I had a complicated deal with my trade, but they made it happen. Ryan in finance is an awesome guy; I promised him a ride in the Hellcat and I intend on making good on that promise soon. Look folks, this is a good place. It was my first time there to buy my 20th Chrysler product. Even though it is a long drive for me (45 miles) to get there, I will consider them first for my next new or used car. More
