I purchased a 2018 Ford Edge from Sherwood Park Ford in Aug and my purchase was an ordeal that I won't get into because it tooks months to get my Edge after they sold the one I drove and put a hold on. Anyway..... I found condensation in the light bar when I first picked up my Edge and took it in for a replacement a week later. Now 7 months later I find more condensation in my new lightbar and I am told there isn't enough condensation to replace/repair this light bar - WHAT??? First they told me they wouldn't replace it because it was fog and not condensation. Fog? So I called Ford Canada who said there is no such thing as fog and condensation is condensation. Sent these details to the Service Department. The had a meeting with the managers and came back sorry we cannot fix this as it's now not enough condensation. Not fog now but condensation. My vehicle is only 7 months old. Since when is damage at a certain degree fixed or not???? Doesn't Ford back their products anymore? What kind of service is this on a NEW vehicle. My next purchase would have been a new truck but I am very hesitant to purchase a FORD and I definitely will not go back to Sherwood Ford. BTW one of my tail lights also had condensation and is being repaired - do I sense a trend here?

Purchase date was wrong in Ford System,had proper date changed by Robert Moisley with Sherwood Ford.
Warranty changed from 3 yrs 60,000.kms ro 4 yrs 80,000. kms.
I was very surprised at how easy it was to deal with everyone at Sherwood Ford. It was a pleasant surprise to have a dealership so attentive to my needs and eager to please from my salesman and the managers right threw to the service department. Very impressive!

I decided to try Sherwood Ford after four service appointments at the Edmonton area dealer where I purchased my 2017 Fusion. The reason I changed to Sherwood Ford was due to attitude, lack of product knowledge and poor quality workmanship at my other dealer. This caused a real distrust of dealerships. I had my Fusion serviced October 1, 2018 and was pleasantly surprised by they're professionalism and knowledge of their product. Service Manager Damon Egan listened to my concerns when booking the appointment and service advisor Steven Wylie was knowledgeable, personable and kept me informed throughout my experience. The work was performed accurately and in a timely matter. I left a happy customer.

"Terrible service and dishonest employees"
I took my Edge to Sherwood Ford because the rear-view mirror was shaking and while trying to remove it they took a big chunk out the windshield. They lied and told me it was hanging off when they got the vehicle, so I'm not sure how a giant chunk of glass came out when they took it off. They also tried to hide the fact that they damaged it by telling me they just didn't have adhesive strong enough to attach it back on, and would be sending it to a windshield shop to get it put back on. When I arrived at the dealership to speak with the service manager about the issue the first thing he said to me was "why do you look like you want to punch me in the face?" Gives you an idea of their level of professionalism & respect. I've had several issues with the service department. Do not trust your vehicle with these people - go elsewhere.
