Confused The other day I had a little foul up - broke out a taillight on my Ford F 150 call the service department to set up an appointment and was asked if I The other day I had a little foul up - broke out a taillight on my Ford F 150 call the service department to set up an appointment and was asked if I had contacted Parts Dept to see if the part I needed was in stock. I said no and was transferred to Parts - now is when the confusion started - in the past I call the Service Dept tell them what I need, they put me on hold to check with the Parts Dept to make sure the part is in stock. Once it is determined that the part is in stock I make the appointment to get the repair done - come in get the work done and all's good. Not my job to see if the part is in stock unless I'm doing the work myself. * I was also quoted the wrong price for the part I needed. When I got to the dealership and explained everything it was taken care of in a professional and timely manner - Thank You. More
