I recently brought my truck in for some warranty repairs, and those were handled quickly and efficiently. While I was there, I asked about upgrading my tires. Jim in the service department was very helpful w and those were handled quickly and efficiently. While I was there, I asked about upgrading my tires. Jim in the service department was very helpful walking through the options, and we decided on a set that the technicians installed that day. After picking up the truck, I immediately noticed severe shaking at highway speeds (around 62 MPH and above), and the alignment felt off. I contacted Jim, and he asked me to bring the truck back so they could take another look. After reviewing the issue, they determined they did not have the proper equipment to balance those particular tires and sent them to another dealership. Unfortunately, when I got the truck back, the shaking was still just as bad. I then scheduled a road force balance with another dealership that specializes in balancing larger tires. After working through the tires, they were able to correct the issue and get the truck driving properly. I contacted Peter, the service manager, explained what happened, and he told me to move forward with the fix and bring him the invoice. As promised, he agreed to reimburse me for the cost. The process overall was time-consuming and frustrating, and I certainly wish it hadn’t happened. That said, both Jim and Peter were professional and worked with me throughout the situation until it was resolved. We all agreed that tires of this size may be better serviced at a location equipped with the proper road force balancing equipment. While the situation was aggravating, I do appreciate the service team standing behind the issue and making it right in the end. More
