After many successful years publishing commercial real estate and parenting newspapers, I decided to shift career paths and pursue retail auto sales. I've been able to bring 25 years of solid business experience to a thriving team at Marty's. I look forward to helping you find the next nicer newer vehicle for you!

I hated every single second of interaction with every single person in that building. Incredibly rude, inconsiderate and lazy. Either the service department barely knows how to perform their job and are single person in that building. Incredibly rude, inconsiderate and lazy. Either the service department barely knows how to perform their job and are too lazy to learn it, or they are the shadiest slimiest place on the south shore and want to do nothing but suck time and money out of you rather than help you. Horrible experience and would not recommend to my absolute worst enemy. More

I chose Martys to replace my transmission because this is where I bought my truck and they were on par with other prices I was fielding while searching for someone to do the work. I was told they would diagn where I bought my truck and they were on par with other prices I was fielding while searching for someone to do the work. I was told they would diagnose it in about a week and the work would take about a week after that. I was happy to get a call to say the truck was finished within a week which is the best part of my interaction with Marty’s. I was contacted and told that my truck was ready to be picked up and was driven 1.5 hours to get it. When I arrived I paid the bill and spoke with the employees in the service center and was directed to my truck. When I got into my truck it was a mess and wreaked like a mechanic shop… I thought this was somewhat understandable at first but then I started my truck to find the check engine light was on and my driver rear tire was at 13psi… I went back into the service center to report my findings. I was told that the tire must’ve lost pressure “after they pulled it out of the shop”. Little did they know I had been receiving low tire pressure alerts on my GMC app for 4 days while they had the truck. I was also advised that the check engine light “must've came on after they parked the vehicle” as well and that it was not on when the work was completed. I demanded they pull the vehicle back in and assess it. I was told that they close at 6pm and they “would see what they could do before 6”. I explained that I had driven over an hour and was not leaving without my truck in the condition that I was told it was in a.k.a. DONE…. I left the dealership to run an errand and was called back by the employee I had been dealing with. He explained that the check engine light was fault codes from disconnecting and re-connecting the battery and that they refilled the tire. I returned to pick up the truck and have not had an issue since. The end result was what I paid for but the attention to detail was seriously lacking. To not notice the tire pressure and the check engine light when the truck was allegedly test driven after the work was done is not acceptable when spending $7k. I expected the vehicle back with no warming lights and air in the tires… doesn’t seem like too much to ask for to me. Also in the past when I’ve had work done at a dealership I’ve received the vehicle back having been detailed… I’m aware that this is a complementary service that some dealerships offer and maybe Marty’s doesn’t but once the other issues popped up it was just too much. $7k is a lot of money especially when less than 4500$ of it was parts. For 2500$ worth of labor it is my opinion that MUCH more attention should be paid to their customers. My first interactions with Marty’s were not good either my first ever interaction was at 18 y/o, I walked in with a truck in mind that I was aware that I could afford. The first salesman I met was Paul Malley, Paul asked if he could help me and I told him I was there to purchase or lease the truck I had in mind. Paul legitimately laughed and told me there’s no way I would get financing for said vehicle and told me he would help me looking at used vehicles... I humored him and spent about 5 minutes with him before I left and called to complain about him. I spoke with the manager Kevin who apologized profusely and actually set me up with Derek Izzo who leased me the exact truck I was there for in the first place the following week. A few weeks after I leased the truck they called me to explain that they had messed up the paperwork and requested me to return to sign new paperwork… The manager stated the paperwork that I signed stated that I leased the vehicle for 15k miles per year but that the price agreed upon was for 10k miles per year. After speaking with an attorney I was advised that the ball was in my court and that they would have to honor the signed paperwork if I decided to “stick it to them”. I opted to do the right thing and sign the new paperwork but at this point I am done with Marty’s… Figure it out. More

Purchased Are you Prior military? cThey offer military discount that doeant show up anywhere. Come here to feel like sitting in line for shots again. Purchased a lease turn in here. During test drive I pointed out scratches and springy brake pedal. Later told they are waiting on title, told matbe thur or friday expected. I call salesrep wed leave a message to figure out when title comes in. Calls me back thursday afternoon with when do you want to come in? I don't know im still waiting for you to return my call about the title. Oh we have it now. Was told they had to put truck thru their checks and clean it, (I assumed this would mean they buff out said scratches) take truck days later and it still has springy pedal get home see scratches still there. Now I have to wait for registration Ill ask then. I show up at time told to, salesrep on phone I stand off in corner waiting, another customer comes in while I am waiting and he immediately goes to work with her, I come around the car sitting in front of his desk and he magically remembers I am there. I ask about scratches told they wont do anything, I also found in settings that oil life was at 8% on truck, I told them about that, they checked oil and reset oil life. Wow if only I knew all oil must have a lifetime shelf life all you have to do is reset the computer you are good to go. Thanks for nothing glad I dropped 48k plus, and you cant buff scratches, do an oil change, or add rain guards or a cheap tonneau. Cheap dealer. Just another number. Finance guy just as good sign here sign here heres the extended warranty on a placard, do you have a flier? No just take a picture of it. My first GMC and my last. Back to Rams next More
