Began the process of purchasing a GMC with Jason. He showed me all my figures with my down payment, apr and discounts (gm supplier discount). He then took me to the Chevrolet building to begin paperwork showed me all my figures with my down payment, apr and discounts (gm supplier discount). He then took me to the Chevrolet building to begin paperwork. This is when things went down hill due to the manager. After filling out pre qualification paperwork, I waited for financing. The manager received 2 call from other customers and one dealer about the truck I was purchasing. The manager then decided that he would no longer honor the deal we had made and sent Jason to inform me, that bc he received other interest he no longer felt like allowing me to use my gm supplier discount which was already plugged into our agreed upon numbers. I was informed his reasoning for this was that I had too good of a deal and he could make more money off someone else. Now I understand I had a good deal but my supplier discount did not come out of Mark Christopher’s pocket directly. This was purely a manger that just wanted to pad his numbers and make more money off of me. I believe this to be highly unethical after I had agreed in terms with Jason. Even when frustrated I offered to split the difference with the manager and only take 1500 of the discount. Apparently the manager did not like that idea haggled with me over $200. Your sales manager actually took the time to haggle with someone purchasing a $70000 truck over $200. And this was after he decided to pull away my discount your team agreed to. In my opinion this is horrible customer service by the sales manager and for that reason will most likely never come back to Mark Christopher. But wait it gets worse.. I was told by Jason that he would deliver my truck later that day after the LPO parts were installed. Around 430pm (3 hrs later) I Received a call from Jason to inform me that they did not actually have any of my parts and he would deliver my incomplete truck by 5. I’m sorry incomplete truck? I spent all that money, got ripped off by the sales manager and was haggled with over $200 for a truck that now tour telling me is incomplete and I’d have to wait a week to get the rest of it? What horrible customer care you guys have. Why wasn’t I told any of this before I left? I could of taken the incomplete truck home myself? What a disgrace of a sales team that gm has on display at Mark Christopher. More

Quick process. From greeting to closure the process was adequate. The one item I would suggest improvement on, would be the availability of more diverse inventory, mainly color variety. We had gone to 2 other dealers and we’re treated very bad, they were very rude so, when we got to your dealer we felt very comfortable very relaxed we got what we wanted. Ended up great...but took some work to get there. Initially I had gotten a recommendation to work with JT, and we spoke over the phone and set up an appointment. When I arrived for the appointment, JT Initially I had gotten a recommendation to work with JT, and we spoke over the phone and set up an appointment. When I arrived for the appointment, JT was working with some other potential buyers and told me he wouldn't be able to help me that day...which was a little frustrating because I'd driven from LA specifically to work with him, but I understand that things do sometimes come up. He told me he'd find someone else to help me, and eventually Nick came over to help get me started. We looked at some new and used cars and took one out for a test drive. During the test drive I was talking with Nick, at one point I asked him a question and he didn't respond...when I looked over he was unconscious. At first I was concerned that he was having a health issue, but after a moment he lifted his head up and continued talking. I wrote it off as a strange mishap and tried to forget it after asking him if he was alright. Eventually we arrived back at the dealership and I told him I was interested in starting the paperwork for the car we'd driven. Once we were back in his office we talked a bit, and while we were talking he became unconscious again. I wasn't sure what was happening so I sat there for a moment, and eventually he perked back up. He told me he'd had a long night due to some personal matters with some family abroad and that he'd gotten very little sleep. At this point I was a little uncomfortable, but was interested in the car and wanted to continue with the paperwork. We continued talking and he fell asleep again. I told him I needed to make a call and when I returned to his office he was once again asleep. I ended up driving over to another building at the dealership and told the manager that I was interested in a specific car but would like to work with a different salesperson. When they asked what the issue was with Nick, I told them and they were very concerned. I went back out to the car I was interested in and met a new salesperson, Edy. Edy was a joy to work with and was so helpful every step of the way. I had never purchased a car from a dealership and he made the process smooth and painless. He helped me work out my financial options and make decisions in a ways that were going to benefit me the most. I never felt pushed to do anything and he really seemed to have my best interest in mind. I bought the car I'd tested and Edy even helped me to drop off my rental car and get me back to the dealership. I can't recommend him highly enough and the next time I need a new car he is the first person I will go to. My intention isn't to get Nick in trouble or place blame, but the managers told me how important it was to them that I gave an accurate and detailed review of the situation. More than anything, I was uncomfortable and felt like I wasn't being taken very seriously. I was already a bit out of my element because I'd never bought a car from a dealership before, but my experience with Nick compounded that and really did leave a bad taste in my mouth. Ultimately I had a good experience at this dealership, but the hoops I had to jump through to get there were a little silly. I love my new car, Edy is great, would be cool if JT kept his appointments, and would also be cool if Nick were awake more often. Thanks! More
