Mike is not only our Overseas Delivery Specialist, he's also one of our most knowledgeable Volvo experts; taking product expertise to an unexpectedly high level. Mike and his wife Sarah have owned 7 Volvos over the years so ask him anything; if he doesn't know, he'll find out!! Mike and Sarah have been married since 2006 and enjoy spending time with their daughter and the rest of their families. If you run into Mike outside of the dealership, it would likely be on the golf course or at a Jays game.

My OSD Purchase of a 2017 Volvo XC90 Inscription This year I purchased a new 2017 Volvo XC90 Inscription using Volvo's Overseas Delivery Program (OSD), and thanks to Mike Percival at Gorges Volvo in This year I purchased a new 2017 Volvo XC90 Inscription using Volvo's Overseas Delivery Program (OSD), and thanks to Mike Percival at Gorges Volvo in Omaha, it was an experience of a lifetime. Mike is an expert on the OSD program and was able to answer every question I asked about the program. This was extremely important because the trip was intended to precede a two week cruise of the Norwegian fjords, and if the OSD program did not go as planned it could have ruined the entire trip for my wife and I. Fortunately everything went as planned and Mike's assistance on this matter helped greatly. I consider myself a car guy, and I do extensive research in advance of buying any new automobile. In that regard, I find it terribly frustrating to ask questions when visiting a dealership, and learn that I know more about the product of interest than the salesperson. I'm happy to say Mike does not fall into that category. He know's Volvo's inside and out and this greatly increased my confidence in the entire buying process. And that technical support did not end upon delivery either. Since taking delivery of my car in the US, I've called Mike multiple times to ask questions about this wonderful, but complex automobile and Mike was always ready, willing and able to cheerfully answer my questions. I would readily recommend anyone interested in buying a Volvo to see Mike at Gorges Volvo, in Omaha, especially if they are interested in doing an OSD. From the first appointment to the last where I picked up my new car (that I absolutely love!!), the sales staff and managers were friendly, knowledgeable, and very clearly listened to what I wanted (and didn’t want). There was zero pushing for added benefits - once I said I didn’t want a specific feature, it was left alone, which, in my experience, is extremely rare when purchasing a car. I picked up my car on Friday morning and then had a very minor issue on Sunday evening around 6 pm. I texted Mike and expected a response Monday morning, but instead I received a call back about 3 minutes later. Absolutely amazing service. I’d recommend Gorges Volvo to everyone. More
