I have always enjoyed helping customers with their buying decisions....I know it's an important process. Seeing a happy customer always makes my day! I was raised in Webster Groves MO, then moved to SO CALI in 1983 and stayed for 22 years, then moved back to my roots in St Louis. I have been in the car business since 1995 and started my career in Southern California. My wife was one of my first customers many years ago and we now have 6 children and 9 grandchildren. I am very easy going and enjoy music and play a few instruments including guitar and piano. I believe in no pressure sales when it comes to doing my job.

DEALER SOLD THE CAR I WAS ASSURED I HAD FIRST RIGHTS TO, TO BUYER WHO ARRIVED AFTER ME. Mungenast Lexus was highly recommended to me by my parents based on their past experience, but my experience was di TO BUYER WHO ARRIVED AFTER ME. Mungenast Lexus was highly recommended to me by my parents based on their past experience, but my experience was disheartening to say the least. I arrived and asked specifically for the Lexus NX I researched. I was escorted to the vehicle and requested a test drive, which was immediately granted. Just prior to pulling out of the parking space, a family approached and expressed interest in the same NX and began examining the vehicle — opening doors etc, while I was already in it! As I tried to pull out, the family stood in from of the NX and asked when I would be returning. I did not reply, as I felt their lack of patience was a bit disrespectful, given I had arrived and expressed interest first. After test driving the car, I let my salesperson know, I’m still interested but since he had found the other car I initially inquired about, I agreed to look at it but specified once more that I’m still interested in the NX. My salesperson assured me since I arrived and expressed interest first, I’d get preference for the NX. However, 20 mins later I sit down with my salesperson and was told, the NX WAS SOLD TO THE FAMILY that arrived AFTER me. When I asked why, my sales person said he thought I said “I wasn’t sold” on the NX. That’s NOT what I said, but let’s assume he interpreted it that way, that is not a clear or acceptable answer. I understand you’re in the business of selling but I feel as a salesperson, it’s only right to clearly communicate with your buyers and not show preferential treatment. That family was not respectful of my presence and my salesperson was not respectful of my presence as a buyer. I would have sincerely appreciated my salesperson saying “hey, if you’re on the fence about the vehicle, that’s fine but there’s another buyer in line that would like it if you’re unsure.” Rather than, “It’s yours if you want it since you were here first” AND THEN SELLING IT from beneath me! Fair treatment without regard to how someone shows up and transparency should be common practice. That’s not what I received. More

We had a very pleasant experience from start to finish. Mike, our salesperson, was very helpful and responsive to our needs and questions. Top Shelf Sales Experience I worked with Chelsea and Mike on a the purchase of a new ES 350. The process was seamless and a pleasure.
