The service department is great, they go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction every time! to ensure customer satisfaction every time! More
Other Employees Tagged: The parts department could use some work. They sent my tires back without telling me they were ever delivered in the first place. Tracking information would have been helpful. They also don’t answer the phone nor do they return calls.

I am happyvwith the service but I feel that you are much too pricey. I am a poor soul and I really cannot afford to get my vehicle serviced if I am going to be charged so much money to get my vehicle repai too pricey. NEVER again will I buy Kia, step foot at Destination Kia Albany, NY or refer my worst enemy to them for any service or sale. This place is the epitome of what's wrong with customer service today and whats w Albany, NY or refer my worst enemy to them for any service or sale. This place is the epitome of what's wrong with customer service today and whats wrong with laborers these days- techinicians only being able to repair what a computer tells them how to- where are the REAL mechanics!? Rude, incompetent, dishonest, lack of communication, confrontational, arrogant, pampas- you name it the list could go on and on. DO NOT BUY A KIA TELLURIDE- YOUR ENGINE WILL BLOW!! They are known to have engine issues, guzzling oil issues, misfiring issues even had engine recalls. (Check your oil between changes!!!) Do your research please!! FB has several complaint groups that will spell it all out for you! I finally got my vehicle back, after close to 5 months, backordered engines, being told one thing one day and something different the next, telling me the parts were there and it would be done Monday, calling Tuesday b/c noone reached out to me to find out the parts werent even there yet, what!? So, after this nearly 5 month nightmare of wishy washy, if any at all, communication I went to pick up my vehicle (engine was replaced and she was ready for pick up). While doing a quick once over I noticed dings and scratches and damage to the vehicle that wasnt there before, parts on the front passenger floor that needed to be reattached.... $5000 for my part of a replaced engine (was out of warranty and my specific VIN didnt have the engine recall; the company, after fighting tooth and nail with them and them determining it was of no fault of my own that the engine blew, agreed to pay 50%- in my eyes thats a confession of guilt to their faulty engines) and it turns out shes not ready for pick up and it had to be left there again!!!! This also- $5000 in car rental fees for being without a vehicle for 2 months, toll fees for the thruway (NY charges close to $5/day in a rental just to use the thruway on top of the actual tolls, there is a cap amount though) and discovered it was cheaper to just purchase a brand new one, so I did, and you can bet on it WAS NOT A KIA. Sooo the nightmare continues, it was sent to the body shop to be repaired (yes they covered the costs being it happened on their watch on their property) and just hit repeat, miscommunication it will be ready this day it wasnt, it will be ready end of week it wasnt, another week went by and another weekend went by finally the car is finished..... I will be offloadong this car asap because I have no trust, no faith and no desire to continue driving it; the new motor comes with a warranty of only 12,000 miles after that who knows what will happen... Im not sticking around to fine out! More

Great service and professional environment. I’ve been using Destination Kia for all car services for close to ten years and communication has always been great. I always give a high rating because the employees alway beg for one or they get in trouble. I would like to be able to give upper management and the owner also a rating for this unfair survey. Mistakes hap beg for one or they get in trouble. I would like to be able to give upper management and the owner also a rating for this unfair survey. Mistakes happens…beginning with this survey. UPDATED 12/22/23: After reading my review, a Service Director, Jim Almindo, reached out to me. He called me to apologize about my experience. He also called me to let me know that the part was in, and Director, Jim Almindo, reached out to me. He called me to apologize about my experience. He also called me to let me know that the part was in, and to schedule my next appointment. Yes, I still had to take a day off and return to Albany, but he offered to rotate my tires and fill my gas tank free of charge. Better yet, my driver side shock was replaced. No more clunking over every bump and turn. Makes me feel safer. All services were done in the estimated amount of time (under 2.5 hours). Thank you, Jim. EXTREMELY unsatisfied!! I called on 12/7 to confirm an appointment because I hadn't received any confirmation. I was told that everything was all set, so on 12/8 I took the day off from work and I drove from one hour away. I arrived at 9:20am for my 9:30am appointment to have my shocks replaced (under warranty). The parts had been ordered after a previous appointment we had (a whole other story that wasted my husband's time off). Upon my arrival, an associate said, "Let me call and see if we have those parts here for you." (What?) Just as I had almost expected something to go wrong, they only had one shock. The associate, Marshall, called "Matthews" to see if they had the other shock in stock. He said they did and they would have someone run to get it. I was asked if I needed a ride anywhere, and I said yes. I waited 1.5 hours in the lobby for a shuttle to the Northway Mall down the road because apparently there is only one driver, transporting people within a 20 mile radius. It was about 11:30am by the time I got to the mall. Shortly after, I received a call that they actually did NOT have the part they thought they had. Around 12:05pm I got a text that the tech noticed that the tires should be rotated and that my back brakes were low. I asked them to please only fix the shock. At 2:05pm I got another text that said "Still working on it." (I was originally told the entire process to replace both shocks would take 3-4 hours and it was now 4.5 hours.) Meanwhile, my mother drove out an hour to meet me at the mall and then drove me back to the dealership because who knows how long it would've taken for the shuttle to come back for me. I got back to the dealership around 3:30pm to be told it was almost ready to go through the car wash. I also found out the passenger side was the side that was replaced vs the driver side which was the initial problem (making a clunking noise). It wasn't until 4:00 pm that I was able to leave the dealership (6.5 hours later) and then had to drive an hour back home. I was FURIOUS, especially because I have to go back and do this all over again. The only thing the associate, Marshall, had to say was, "Sorry, but we will call you when your part comes in." Completely unacceptable!! It just ruined my entire day. More
