My recent experience with liberty auto city was absolutely horrible. I’m looking to buy a used Toyota RAV4 and they so happened to have one I was interested in. My main experience was with Vanessa absolutely horrible. I’m looking to buy a used Toyota RAV4 and they so happened to have one I was interested in. My main experience was with Vanessa Mhango, she was amazing and very helpful and friendly all throughout showing us the car and taking it for a test ride, however, when we went to go make an offer on the vehicle and she took this offer to her manager Mario Gentry, he came back and right off the bat had an attitude with us, he was very rude and made us feel like we weren’t appreciated at all, he immediately started showing us random numbers of what the bank would pay him and how much he would get if he put it through an auction. He also did not know anything about the vehicle he was even selling, he claimed it was a “platinum” model when it was only a limited with none of the features a platinum comes with, and when we corrected him on that he tried to act as if he was right until we proved him him wrong. After discussing for about 15 minutes he decided to get up from the table and walk away from us basically telling us to leave. We offered 8% less than what they had it listed for which I believe is reasonable and he decided to take his incorrect actions out on us. On top of all of this he was comparing the vehicle to the wrong models at different dealers. The RAV4 had scratches all around the doors and it had a hole in the front bumper which we were not told about over the phone before driving well over an hour to the dealer. Over all I will never go to this dealer again after walking out because Mario Gentry made me feel belittled and very unwelcome. More
