Maggie was awesome from the first time I stepped in the showroom. I can not stand buying a new car. In fact the last four cars I purchased for myself were all auction vehicles, but my wife wanted a Jeep. showroom. I can not stand buying a new car. In fact the last four cars I purchased for myself were all auction vehicles, but my wife wanted a Jeep. Maggie listed to what I wanted and was not pushy. There was no way I was going to buy a car on the first visit, so Maggie followed up consistently with friendly reminders. I came back and she worked with Bill to make sure I could accomplish what I wanted with my wife's new Jeep. Thanks Again! Jason More

We went to this dealership after going to the concord dealership and they did not have any Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon's for us to test drive. We called this dealership and were told that they had m dealership and they did not have any Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon's for us to test drive. We called this dealership and were told that they had many in stock and we went there. We had not intended to buy a car on Saturday. We test drove the Rubicon and loved it. Maggie was great and patient with us. She was available to answer any questions we had. She stayed with us past closing time so that we could get everything in order. She was there and ready for us on Sunday when we brought the payment and title. I would recommend Maggie to anyone that is looking for a great salesperson. In the end, we purchased the Jeep due to the great deal we got. Didn't have to do too much bargaining to get it at the price we wanted which was great. More

My Chevy Venture(van) was having alot of issues that were My Chevy Venture(van) was having alot of issues that were beginning to cost me alot of money and I decided that it was time to let it out to past My Chevy Venture(van) was having alot of issues that were beginning to cost me alot of money and I decided that it was time to let it out to pasture and buy a new vehicle. Being a single Mom with 3 daughters; 1 married, 1 in college, and 1 a competition dancer, I didn't have alot of time or money to put into finding a new vehicle. After alot of researching we went into The Lake Norman Dodge and Jeep Dealership and was greeted by Stephanie who introduced us to Brian. He was very friendly, sympathetic, and easy to talk to. He listened to all of the specifications I gave him(even my silly need of "GOOD" cup holders) and then showed me a few vehicles ...recommending a Dodge Grand Caravan...the Stow and Go! This van was very nice and seemed to fit all of our needs; my dancer has very long legs and needs alot of room, my college daughter hopes to be getting in the dorm next year and I will be needing to "Stow and Go" the seats to make room so that I can move her in, and my married daughter constantly drinks water in bottles or gigantic cups(we even brought one of her cups to make sure it would fit in the cup holders!). Seeing the price of the van I needed time to think about it so we left that day without purchasing the van. When we returned to look at it again, Brian was off and Stephanie introduced us to Maggie. She was just as great as Brian had been and was very understanding. Brian had suggested that we use the van for a night so I asked Maggie if this were possible and she proceded to work with Olbey to set us up. It was a wonderful adventure as I could get all 3 of my daughters together to check out the van, riding around, testing the cup holders, stowing the seats, etc. The next day when I returned the van, I was ready to purchase and Brian, Maggie, and Craig helped me; working together to get me the best deal ever, trading in my old van for the new one, financing, and even adding on running boards so that my Mother(79 years old) will not have a problem getting in or out of my new van! It has been several weeks now and my whole family is extremely happy with our NEW Dodge Grand Caravan(named Rupert)! I enjoyed my whole experience working with the friendly and courteous staff at Lake Norman Dodge and Jeep Dealership! More

We were a hard deal to make. I previously purchased a new car a couple of years ago and after 4 layoffs in 3 years and divorce my credit score wasn't very good. Due to my credit history I wasn't able to get car a couple of years ago and after 4 layoffs in 3 years and divorce my credit score wasn't very good. Due to my credit history I wasn't able to get a good loan so I ended up with a 17% interest loan. In addition, I had made the mistake of trading in a car that I stilled owed alot on to get that 17% interest loan... so not only did I have a very bad interest rate, I was in the hole with alot of negative equity (almost $10,000). The car that I traded in had a higher interest rate though... so at the time, I felt like it was a better deal than what I currently had. The car I traded in was from one of those places that will finance anyone and charge 20%+ interest. Unfortunately, I still had a payment of $694/month to pay. Over the past 3 years we have worked hard to improve our credit and have seen some success but we are still roughly at a 640 beacon between my wife and I. We haven't been late or missed any payments in the last 5 years but are carrying high balances on a few credit cards in relation to the limit (about 75% utilization) because we used them to pay for our 19 year old daughter to attend community college. I have tried to get our car loan refinanced but noone would refinance the loan because the car had lost alot of value and at this point I owed almost double the value of the car. Every month I made my $694 car payment and just figured I would have to bite the bullet. I had almost given up on it and figured I would have to just pay off the loan with the high interest rate. Last week I received a marketing flyer from Lake Norman Chrysler. Normally, I just throw them away... but this one said that Chrysler was offering up to $3000 over Kelley Blue Book for trade ins and up to $10,000 off MSRP for some 2010 models. The current payoff on my 2007 Chrysler Sebring was $22,750 and the fair bluebook value was roughly $8000. Looking at those numbers you can see why I felt like I was over my head. I basically owed $15000 more than the car was worth... all the while paying 17% interest. I figured I didn't have anything to lose by calling them and the first sentence I said to Maggie was "I completely doubt that you can help me.". Maggie was very patient and kind while I explained my situation to her. Her response was "I think we can help you". She told me that the dealership had built a sales and finance management team that she felt were the best she had seen in her 10 years at Lake Norman Chrysler. I was still very skeptical. I have dealt with a few dealerships in my life and have never been very happy with the truthfulness of the salespeople. My wife felt the same way so I told Maggie that I didn't want to fill out a credit application unless they could assure me that they could make the deal happen. Later that evening, I got a call from Russell who told me that he thought they could make a deal that would work for me on a new 2010 Dodge Charger. I told him that I could probably only come up with $2500 down and he told me that I might have to come up with a better down payment in order to get my interest rate lowered much because, typically, only high risk (read high interest rate) banks would finance someone who was as upside down as I was with that low of a down payment. If I really wanted to get my interest rate and payment down that I would need to go with a better bank. The issue is that the better banks typically will only finance 118-120% with a beacon score like mine. I told him that I probably wouldn't be able to come up with more right now and he told me that they would do their best to make it work. The next day, Maggie called me and asked me if I had spoken with Russell and that they had gone over the numbers and that I should probably come in so that they could go over it with me. I agreed and went in after work. I got to the dealership around 6-6:30. Maggie showed me the car and I liked it alot... it's a black pearl color and it had 16 miles on it. When we got back from test driving the car she introduced me to Russell and Obie who are the internet sales manager and sales manager respectively. Russell was very honest and up front with me about the numbers and Obie was very energetic and upbeat. He told me that they had gone over the numbers and felt like they could indeed make it happen. I felt like they were all very honest with me... and that was refreshing considering that I hold a very low opinion of car sales people due to past experience. Maggie took down our credit information and submitted it to financing. I waited about 30-40 minutes and then Russell came over and sat down at the table with me. He said that he had good news and bad news. The good news was that I was approved for financing through Ally at 11.99% (which would reduce my payment by over $100/month even with the new car) and the bad news was that I would have to put down $4500. However, they would allow me to pay the down payment over 45 days... so basically, they would take the $2500 I had and hold a $2000 check. After some thought, I decided I could probably do that... I had some things that I could sell to come up with the difference and I wouldn't have a payment in the next month... so I basically had to come up with $1300 in addition to my normal payment. At 8:30pm (2-2 1/2 hours after I arrived) I agreed to the deal. Russell told me that it would be best to come back the next day so that they would have time to get the paperwork together and I wouldn't have to wait for them to do that. In addition, I could take the new car with me... so I drove out of the lot that night with a new Dodge Charger and a lower payment. The next evening my wife and I drove to the dealership to sign the papers and give them the down payment. I was able to sell some of the stuff I needed to sell that day... so I walked in with $3000 to give them down and they would hold the check for $1500. We arrived at the dealership around 7pm and took care of the down payment and check as well as being congratulated by a number of the staff, including Russell and Obie. Maggie took the car down to the gas station and filled it with gas while we sat down with Leanne? (I am not 100% positive of her name... sorry). The first thing she told me was that she had good news and that she had fight a little bit with the bank and was able to get the interest rate dropped to 9%! That means that my payment ended up being almost $140 less than what I was paying before! The original MSRP on the Charger was around $26,000. I ended up financing $30,500. This meant that I was able to reduce my negative equity by almost $10,000 while reducing my interest rate by 8%. The hidden story here is that, after they got me the approval on Thursday evening, on Friday morning I called 2 Chevy dealerships and a Ford dealership (I only buy American for myself) to see if they could do a better deal. So, by 10am on Friday, I already had 3 dealerships working on it to see what they could come up with. By 6pm, before I went to sign the paperwork at Lake Norman Chrysler, they had all called me back and told me that they couldn't do the deal. In the end, I feel like Lake Norman Chrysler really pulled a superman effort for me and they have won a customer for life. The fact that 3 other dealerships couldn't do what Lake Norman Chrysler did (and in a timely fashion I must say) speaks volumes to me. More
