Why use old Spark Plugs I had my engine replaced under warranty. The engine was totally ruined. There was a hole in the engine block. Everything started out great. They were I had my engine replaced under warranty. The engine was totally ruined. There was a hole in the engine block. Everything started out great. They were replacing my engine under warranty and even covering my rental car. Then, they called with "bad news". They reuse the spark plugs. Yes, spark plugs with 66,000 miles were going to be used in a brand new engine. But, my spark plugs were damaged when the engine died, so they could not reuse them. They charged me 69.00 for 4 spark plugs, and 2.00 bulls@#t shop fee. Why would spark plugs not be covered under the warranty engine replacement? More
