The salesman said what he had to get the sale took advantage of me not knowing South Carolina purchasing. The dealership does not honor what was offered in sale and didn't find out till it was too l advantage of me not knowing South Carolina purchasing. I bought a car from the Florence Dealership on Aug 04 , 2023 . It was a 2019 Cadillac XT5 with a little over 13000 miles on it . They added on about 10000 dollars in add-ons to the deal . The car was total 2023 . It was a 2019 Cadillac XT5 with a little over 13000 miles on it . They added on about 10000 dollars in add-ons to the deal . The car was totaled on Aug 21 . I have been to the dealership about 10 times to get the add-ons rebated to PNC bank so the GAP INS .will pay their portion and I can get the balance owed paid to PNC . tHEY WILL NOT RESPOND TO ME AND I SUGGEST YOU THINK ABOUT WHO YOU ARE DEALING WITH ! Service Department Has Bad Service And Broke So Many Ethical Standards When It Comes To Servicing Their Customers. I’ve Been Going Back And Forth With ALM Of Hyundai Dealership About An Oil Leak On My C Ethical Standards When It Comes To Servicing Their Customers. I’ve Been Going Back And Forth With ALM Of Hyundai Dealership About An Oil Leak On My Car Since December 2022 . I Paid For The Service In Order To Get It Fix By Replacing The Valve Gasket , Oil Pan, And Some Other Minor Issues ; Just To Find Out In Less Than A Month (January) It Was Still Leaking Oil . The Dealership Had 3 Different Chances To Look At My Car And Fix The Problem But They Kept Saying It Wasn’t Leaking Oil But I Was Buying Oil Every Week Or Getting A Oil Change Every Month So Where Was The Oil Going ? Then They Said I Had A Motor Recall (That Was A Lie) ! But Never Got Back To Me On Moving Forward With The “Recall” . I Was Told That If It’s A Recall I Don’t Have To Wait On Them I Can Go To Another Hyundai Dealership To Get It Fix . Well I Did That Just To Find Out My Car Didn’t Have A Recall So I Had To Pay $178 For The Diagnostic ; Just To Find Out It Was Leaking Oil And The Valve Gasket Needs To Be Replaced ! Mind You I Just Paid ALM Of Hyundai $900 To Replace My Valve Gasket . So Took The Car Back To ALM Of Hyundai Because I Was Within My 30 Days Of My Service So They Should’ve Been Able To Fix It ! Well That Didn’t Happen , I’ve Been Up There Multiple Times, Call, Email , And Even Ask Through Email And In Person Can We Do Some Type Of Term Agreement Since There Was A Warranty On The Valve Gasket To Let The Other Dealership Fix It . No Response They Keep Saying They’re Going To Reach Out To Me And They’ll Call Me Back And Never Did ! 2 Weeks Ago After Going Back And Forth With ALM Of Hyundai For 8 Months My Engine Locked And The Car Wouldn’t Crank . I Finally Was Able To Get In Touch With The General Manager But All He Did Was Pass Everything Back Down To The Same People I’ve Been Trying To Talk To For The Longest . Just For Them To Tell Me They Don’t Have The Equipment Or Technology To Check My Engine And Even If They Did I Would Have To Wait 8 To 10 Months For A New Engine I’ve Already Waited 7 Months Just To Get The Leak Fixed . NOW THIS WAS SOMETHING THEY HAD ALREADY KNEW ABOUT SINCE FEBRUARY BUT JUST NOW TELLING ME ‼️ ALM Of Hyundai Has Over 40 Cars On Their Lot Waiting For Engine That They Don’t Have And Some Of These People Been Waiting Longer Than Me ! More

Do not go to this dealership to buy a car. I just purchased a used car from them. Car had 2000 miles on it and had a prior issue with the navigation / safety computer. They assured me had b I just purchased a used car from them. Car had 2000 miles on it and had a prior issue with the navigation / safety computer. They assured me had been replaced and was working. The salesman Jon emailed me the car still had 45 months or 58k miles on the factory warranty. I live in a different state. I took delivery of the car and within two minutes of starting it and trying to activate the navigation the computer failed -- it clearly was not working. They advised me to take it to my local dealer to have it "reset." Dealer told me it's faulty and needs to be replaced and part is on backorder. Further, my local dealer told me the factory warranty is 24 months. They lied about the warranty. Four days later, the battery fails and is dead. They did pay to replace it, but not offering to take care of the warranty issue or the failed hardware. Tonight, they emailed me a curt email that I never paid the balance of the down payment. First of all, I certainly did and I doubt they would have finished the transaction and turned over a $45k car to me if I hadn't paid the down payment in full. They lost the check. They told me I needed to overnight them a new check accused me of not paying the balance. They are disorganized, dishonest and disingenuous. There are plenty of honest dealers out there. Drive past this one when you're shopping. More

In April 2022, I purchased a 2016 VW Jetta from ALM Hyundai. I noted on the Carfax that there had been a mileage discrepancy with an auto auction seller, but I presumed the car had 53k miles (odometer Hyundai. I noted on the Carfax that there had been a mileage discrepancy with an auto auction seller, but I presumed the car had 53k miles (odometer reading), not 35k miles based on the history, and went ahead with the purchase. It is now late December, and the car still has not been registered in North Carolina (I live just outside Wilmington), and as nice as the staff has been, I have not received a straight answer, or as the say "the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth". Instead, I've received a nonstop stream of excuses and evasions as to why they cannot register the car in NC. My son is driving the car on about the third or fourth temporary tag, and the lender has started asking questions. Issues / challenges arise all the time, how you deal with it is the difference between real customer service and fertilizer. I paid the fee for "Documents, Title and Tags", and I expect them to figure out how to deliver. To date, that hasn't happened, and I have no confidence that short of driving 100 miles back to Florence myself, I won't get a straight answer anytime soon. More

Edit: I got my car back after 6+ months. The engine that was replaced here CAUGHT FIRE while I was driving within 48 hours of picking it up. Not a small fire. Like 8 ft flames, car totaled, firemen shutting down the street FIRE. And shocker: ALM hasn’t called me back to try to make this right. Guess I’ll have to handle this on my own also. Good luck getting a call or e-mail back, let alone your vehicle. It has been almost 6 months and even Hyundai corporate is having a hard time getting calls back. When we do get any information it is incorrect. I have been told multiple times that I should have my car "in two weeks" beginning about 3 months ago. All I have asked for is an honest update and I get either rudeness from Tricia or a lack of response from Joey or Ken. Also when I originally left a 1 star review someone named Eve reached out stating they would take over communication and make sure I was kept in the loop and asked me to change my rating. In good faith; I did. Have not heard back from her at all since then. This place is unethical and dishonest. More
