Once again the service department was incompetent in performance of a simple oil change. And as usual blamed the problem on an inanimate object. I was going to purchase this lease because my husband a performance of a simple oil change. And as usual blamed the problem on an inanimate object. I was going to purchase this lease because my husband and I love this vehicle. Because of the insidiousness of the”damage” done from oil covering the undercarriage, battery, alternator, hardware, and everything else that came in contact with the leaking oil, we are not confidant that in 6 months, one year, 2 years, whatever, that this incident has not compromised the mechanical, technical, integrity of our car. They ruined our car and our confidence in its performance for an extended amount of time. Yes, there was a great attempt to rectify what should never have happened in the first place. That was appreciated. But nothing will help with our trust or peace of mind. This was not our first issue with service there but it was the most egregious. Service department never called to offer an explanation or apology. More
