Josh was awesome to work with. My 16 year old 650i was not communicating properly but the service team was able to figure out the problem and get it corrected.Was given a loaner fo My 16 year old 650i was not communicating properly but the service team was able to figure out the problem and get it corrected.Was given a loaner for the days my car was in the shop and when I had to fly back to NC and leave the car at the dealership there was no problem and it was ready to go when I returned to pick it up 2 weeks later. In all honesty, I’ve owned BMW’s (various Alpina’s) and I love the service guys here (Josh and Ralph are absolutely the best guys - Incredibly friendly, helpful, responsive, and honest), but this dealership love the service guys here (Josh and Ralph are absolutely the best guys - Incredibly friendly, helpful, responsive, and honest), but this dealership absolutely gouges people on price. I was just quoted over $8,000 for an A/C compressor and pressure line replacement…The compressor itself was quoted at almost $2,400 when it costs less than half the price from all 5 other BMW dealerships that I called throughout Florida just to see if the price was even close to correct…The highest price for the parts I received from everyone else was $1302.00. The really bad problem is that another certified BMW repair shop is doing the exact same job with BMW parts purchased directly from a BMW dealership in Miami for $1,809.00. This isn’t the 1st time that this has happened to me at BMW of Sarasota either…I’ve received incredibly high quotes for repairs that ended up being completed by other BMW repair facilities for less than half the price. I really feel bad for people that want the experience driving a fantastic car but then go to this dealership for any repairs and get taken advantage of…It’s more than enough to move on from any automaker and buy something else. BMW corporate should really take a hard look at what’s happening at BMW of Sarasota because their company’s name is directly tied to this dealership and absolutely ruining the BMW experience for people. More

Great experience. very organized and well staffed. The car was taken at the appointment time and was finished earlier than expected.
