I originally came to the dealership to look at a 2019 F150 I saw online, we drove it and realized it was pretty rough and had a bad rattle in the dash. Then John showed us a 2021 Powerboost. By now it was dusk and we noticed that the bed was dirty with dried mortar and the truck had some scratches on it. It was Saturday, John said leave it and on Monday the body shop would clean the bed, touch up the scratches and buff it out. So I came back on Monday a 3 hour round trip. It was getting dark the truck had been rewashed and tire wet put on the tires. one spot was touched up with a paint pen. I cleaned the mortar out of the bed and tailgate myself. i had the bedliner touched up and the tailgate redone. but the plastic work surface is still in very rough condition. When I was cleaning out the bed I discovered someone had cut a hole in the bottom of the tailgate to pound out a dent it also has been repainted. Under the hood I found mice nests on top of and under the engine cover, the engine cover is all chewed up. The whole underside of the truck is packed with limestone fines (from driving down gravel roads). So muck so the spare tire was packed full. The frame, spare tire, hitch, rear end differential and suspension parts are very rusty. The interior was dirty lots of dog hair and the passenger side dash pad is very scratched up. When it rains the Pro Power system shows a ground fault. This truck came from auction, it was washed tire wet applied, photographed and put on the lot! 172 point inspection? A lot was missed! this 1-1/2 year old truck is pretty rough! John called me after 2 weeks to see how it was going. I went threw these issues and he said he would see what he could do for me, never heard back. I called John a week later, he said the pro power system is covered under a 12 mo. 12k mile warranty. As for the rest we agreed I lived to far to bring it back. So I asked if Lake Ford could replace the damaged engine cover and tailgate work surface and then I never heard back from him.
