If I could give a ZERO STAR rating I would. This service department is shady. Refuse to fix an issue that wasn't there before. We had always been fond of our car - we took it to the dealership to have recall work done. After it was returned we can not get the lug nuts off the car to do any additional service needed. The manager Travis will not call me back and Joe who we worked with was both condescending and rude - blaming us and the fact that we live in Charleston along with the fact the car has "100,000 miles on it". We want nothing more then for them to replace our lug nuts and they will not do it. Very sad that this is what Palmetto Ford thinks is acceptable behavior. I scheduled a service appointment for my truck and the soonest I could get was about two weeks out. I show up on that day and they tell me I'll have to leave my vehicle and wait a few more weeks for them soonest I could get was about two weeks out. No idea why they schedule appointments if they can't get to your vehicle for weeks. Had to leave and find another dealership. Then I received an email saying I didn't show up. This place is a mess. More

Scheduled an appointment for AC issue with my Ford Mustang. Appointment was three weeks away. Get there and they tell me the car will not be seen for two more weeks. With no loaner vehicle. We drove up from Connecticut and had a major problem which required a complete new engine. Joe Luciano wasted no time taking good care of us including getting us a car rental setup………he was a life save which required a complete new engine. Joe Luciano wasted no time taking good care of us including getting us a car rental setup………he was a life saver! If I could, I would get Joe a job here in Connecticut at Whaling City Ford. He was the light at the end of our tunnel……we got the car back and drove it back to Connecticut. It ran beautifully, and got almost 30 mpg where the old engine never did better then 19 mpg………Palmetto Ford is number one in my book and so is Joe Luciano…….I also want to thank all the Ford Mechanics who worked on the car…….they did a spectacular job……….many thanks! P.S. I would be glad to do a commercial for your dealership………you folks turned what could have been a nightmare into a good experience………for that, my Wife Lynda and I thank you so much……… More
