Multiple failures I recently bought a set of tires from Ferman. The tires had to be ordered, and after they installed them, and I got home, I noticed they installed a d I recently bought a set of tires from Ferman. The tires had to be ordered, and after they installed them, and I got home, I noticed they installed a different set than I ordered. When they installed the tires they also did an alignment, and I also noted the truck pulled to the left. I let them know of the errors, and 3 days later they installed the correct tires and corrected the alignment. I noticed the truck had a noticeable shake at 50+ mph, and had to return a week later to have the tires balanced. Again, the truck had a noticeable shake, and had them balanced again. Each time they balanced them, they indicated the balance was off. Currently the truck still shakes at 50+ mph, and have been advised by the tire manufacturer to have them replaced under warranty. Ferman indicated that could take up to 10 days, and if I needed it done sooner take it to a Firestone store. Prior to having the tires replaced, the truck had no shake at all. All told, I spent 9.5 hours in the customer lounge waiting, and 1 day without the truck after dropping it of for the shake as well as another repair. I can’t afford to lose any more time , and I’m not sure Ferman is willing to or capable of correcting the issue. Update, I have taken the truck to the local Firestone dealer, who replaced 2 of the tires, and road force balanced all 4. The 2 remaining tires that were balanced by Ferman were out of balance. Since I had no confidence in any of the work done by Ferman, I had an alignment done today, and it was way out of spec. Remember, Ferman did an alignment 2 months ago. With all of the glowing reviews on this site, I guess I’m that unlucky customer who spent an extraordinary amount of time and money trying to buy something that would seem relatively simple. More
