Rica and now here in Florida. I was almost ready to switch to a higher SUV, but a month ago, my car was flooded, windows were closed, car was closed. It was like having a mini pool inside the car on the driver side. I took it to the shop and they told me there were some pipes blocked and that the water instead of going out, came in the car. I asked and there is nothing that can be done to avoid this. at the end they charged me more than $300 that ended in $250. besides, they unclog the pipes, but the car was returned to me full of water.. when I asked, I was tod I had to pay $150 more. I can't understand why do I have to pay a lot of money for something that shouldn't happen. It was not my fault, the only problem is that I don't have a garage and the car is parked outside. and of course, the guarantee expired 2 months before this happened. Thinking on this, I think I am not buying anymore Toyota, even I love the car, but it is not fair that a car that I take care a lot, is damaged by "nothing" and then I have to pay for it. I am really dissapointed with this event. I paid a lot of money for this car, but I don't feel safe with it anymore, as this could happens again.
