I am disappointed with how things went on this purchase. I was looking for a used truck with around 30k or so. The sales rep was helpful and we settled on a 2022 Tacoma with about 36k. He pulled the carfax I was looking for a used truck with around 30k or so. The sales rep was helpful and we settled on a 2022 Tacoma with about 36k. He pulled the carfax and we went through it. He pointed out it only had 1 previous owner, which was true. I didn’t notice until I got home after the purchase that the 1 owner was a rental company. Obviously, this is not the same as one private owner. I guess ultimately, this is on me for not paying attention to all the details. However, I am very disappointed that a dealership this size would even be reselling rental cars and that they didn’t make sure to let me know that they do. I still would’ve bought a truck that day, it would’ve just been a different one. I would have even been willing to pay more for a truck, that was not a previous rental. It makes me feel a little sick and I won’t be coming back for my next purchase. Thanks for the chance to provide feedback. More
