BUYERS BEWARE! Think twice before buying from this dishonest used car lot! I purchased a 2006 Honda Element from this used car dealership for an astounding $1 Think twice before buying from this dishonest used car lot! I purchased a 2006 Honda Element from this used car dealership for an astounding $13995 and drove a rental car more than 5 hours to get there. (The Element can be hard to find, which is why it was so overpriced). Over the phone the salesmen, Robi, assured me the vehicle was in tip top condition. He went as far as saying that he had even replaced the windshield wipers and it was completely safe to drive home. The multipoint inspection gave the car a clean pass. For these reasons, I trusted the salesman and declined the warranty. The car had a heavy vibration the day I drove it off the lot, but I don't know engines so I didn't realize there was an issue until I got home. The engine was immediately misfiring. I promptly called the dealership. Unable to get a return call for several weeks, I finally emailed them. I continued to try to resolve it with them directly multiple times over the course of the next year. Initially the owner, Dylan Aamodt, said he would work with me on the cost of repairs, but refused to tow the car to his lot or pay for diagnostics elsewhere. I am on an extremely fixed income and had already paid $941.14 in repairs. It took a year to save enough money to get the diagnostics done. After having two different shops diagnose the car, these were the results: timing chain needed replaced, VTEC solenoid assembly needed replaced, engine valve needed adjustment with gaskets, passenger engine mount bracket and hardware needed replaced, and the oil pan needed resealed. The total amount I have paid in repairs and diagnostics was $3783. The oil pan will be an additional $1019 + tax. The mecanics said the engine was extremely sludged up. The oil had not been maintained by the previous owner and it has resulted in many issues with the engine. After weeks of attempting to contact Dylan to provide him the diagnosis that he requested, he contiued to repeatedly avoid my calls and neglect to call me back so we could reach a resolution. I have left messages with multiple employees inform him of the diagnostics and requesting partial assitance. Every employee promised Dylan would return my call, but he didn't. Eventually I was informed by one staff member that he said he won't accept my call or offer any assistance. I encourage potential buyers to view the ratings on the BBB website to see evidence of his unwillingness to communicate or compromise. To even give a single star rating seems overly generous. Zero stars would certainly more fitting. More

Pay the pre purchase inspection as they will not tell you what's wrong with vehicle. All thier vehichles are overpriced, get extended warranty because they will not help you. I didn't drive my vehicle often as I could not get the smell out and it was making me sick so I had no idea how much trouble was ahead however I did complain right away to them about my concern. Eastlake Auto Brokers said bring the car in, they would help diagnose, give full detail, give me a loaner while they took a look at the issue but none of this happened. They also lied about allowing me to trade up and then said its not worth it, they could only give me 20% of what I paid, lol...They promised to help but then changed when it came time to follow thru on those promises. Also the lady in charge never called me back but had her staff tickle my ears with empty promises and prolonged the inevitable. Basically, I got beat out of a lot of money. I had to spend over $10k in repairs within the 1st 45 days. Hard purchase to swallow! Very disappointed! More
