The reason I love Rizza Ford in Orland My service advisor was Ike. He explained the situation about my vehicle. He took the time to answer all my questions, and I had a lot. Stay clear and go elsewhere. You’ll save money and headach Had a rack and pinion replaced along with some other routine maintenance. $3200 later, when I picked the car up it had a terrible knocking noise und Had a rack and pinion replaced along with some other routine maintenance. $3200 later, when I picked the car up it had a terrible knocking noise underneath upon acceleration and a loud vibration. Never had a noise like that before I took it in. Called them and I was told to bring it back. Service writer Ike Mohammad drove with me and heard both noises. First time returning the car to correct problem they had the car for 4 days. First time Ike called me and said it was fixed. Guess what? It wasn’t. Second time they had it 8 days. Car sat outside for most of that time and not looked at. I routinely drove by and saw it outside. When I’d call and check status of my car, Ike said it’s being worked on as we spoke. BS!!! It was sitting outside. I was eventually called again, and told to pick it up and they unassembled and reassembled everything and I was assured and promised the problems were fixed. Picked it up and immediately upon exiting the parking lot again I heard the noises. One lie after another. Out of frustration I took it to a local repair shop in Orland Park and was told when the “mechanic” at Rizza reinstalled the lower motor mount after taking it off to install new rack and pinion, he reassembled the mount backwards and it damaged the mount and was rubbing on the mount itself and the transmission. He said I was lucky it didn’t damage my motor. The REAL MECHANIC cost me an additional $400 parts and labor. I called the service manager, Dave, and left him a voicemail composing. It’s been 5 days and guess what? NO CALL BACK!! I will file a law suit against Rizza Ford and recoup my additional time and money that way. IM STAYING AWAY FROM Rizza Ford and their SERVICE DEPARTMENT. I’ve dealt with Rizza for decades AND bought dozens of cars and sent other customers. Both managers, Precin brothers, can vouch for my loyalty. I never needed service before since I changed out cars after a year or two, and when I did need service they were horrible and incompetent. I WILL SHARE THIS STORY AND TELL PEOPLE TO STAY FAR AWAY FROM RIZZA AND NOT DEAL WITH THE LYING AND INCOMPETENT SERVICE DEPT. SHAME ON IKE AND THE “MECHANICS”. I plan on sharing this on social media and hopefully prevent another person from having this happen to them. More
