Easiest, No-Pressure Purchase Ever I came in a bit jaded after my previous car buying experience (6 hour negotiations, old school bully tactics, "locked" in finance office, pushing unne I came in a bit jaded after my previous car buying experience (6 hour negotiations, old school bully tactics, "locked" in finance office, pushing unnecessary services, squeezing every penny out of the deal, etc.) - so I came in slightly on the defensive. Once I arrived at the dealership though, I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism of the team, as well as the friendly disposition of all the staff there. They made it clear that they were not trying to squeeze every nickel and dime out of me by charging up the sales tax or introducing some random fees in the deal. The pricing was upfront and direct - nothing was hidden. There was a trade in involved as well and that was a quick 30 minute turn-around from their test drive to the agreed value. It was the easiest negotiation process I've had and there were no "manager interventions" (aka the sales manager didn't like your number and is going to sit here to explain why you're wrong). In the finance office, there was no pushy sales tactics - just a "here's what we can offer in addition to your deal and if you like it, we'll roll with it, and if you don't, we'll move on." No bully tactics or guilt-tripping you into additional add ons you don't want. As for the staff I dealt with, Wow, phenomenal team with great chemistry! Dan McCarthy was the first face we saw and he was very friendly and courteous the entire time. You can tell he is an industry veteran that has seen it all and I can say that his history and success was definitely because of his friendly disposition and not old school bully tactics/ruthlessness. He did a fantastic job of working with me and putting in the effort to get the deal I wanted. I left feeling like I got a heckuva deal on my Miata. By the end of it, he made me feel like we've known each other for some time, sharing his industry background, his family stories, and cracking jokes. I would absolutely return AND recommend friends/family to see him for their next Mazda. Troy & Dave were also fantastic to deal with. People tend to think of car dealership managers to be a bit more rigid and working against the customer; however, these two completely flipped that notion on its head. Troy was the sales manager on my deal and was friendly & personable in delivering the preliminary numbers, as well as the final numbers we agreed to. It felt like he was genuinely interested in working with the customer in getting what they wanted. Dave was the last stop, in the finance office. It was a no-frills, no-fluff experience - completely different than many other dealerships out there. All the forms were printed out, all the explanations were concise and straight to the point, and any questions were answered fastidiously without any hemming and hawing. He explained the 2 packages offered and kept it at a light approach "if this interests you, we can add it to the final numbers, and if not, we can move on." Talk about a change! We were in and out of that office in less than 15-20 minutes. Fantastic! This dealership has completely blown all my other experiences out of the water. Friendly, professional, no bully tactics, no scummy money grabs, just honest car sales that work well. Highly recommend this dealership for the next Mazda! More
