This is my second time working with Dale in the purchase of a Used Mercedes. My first experience was excellent even though I didn’t choose the correct car for me, which was my fault for not taking time to of a Used Mercedes. My first experience was excellent even though I didn’t choose the correct car for me, which was my fault for not taking time to find a good fit in an automobile for me. Dale helped me with the purchase of a 2007 C280 which was a good car but not completely my style which again it was my fault for not realizing that when I purchased it. Dale knew even though the C280 is a great car I wasn’t connecting with it. I contacted Dale again to look at several other vehicles to see if I could find a better fit, the problem was I had only had the C280 for 4 or 5 months. To find a vehicle to replace the C280 and not blow my budget out of the water I thought might be impossible. I went in and test drove a few cars and Dale helped me narrow it down to two. Dale listened to what I was saying and knew which direction to go when showing me different options. We were able to find a very good fit with a 2008 R550. I have only been in this car for 1 day and feel 100% more confident that this was the right choice compared to my previous purchase. Dale and George did a wonderful job at satisfying a difficult customer. I can be very picky over simple things most people would not even notice. There were several nice brand options other than Mercedes but I am glad I didn’t switch brands, Mercedes is what I wanted and I’m glad that is what I went with. I can’t say enough nice things about Dale Acelar he is truly concerned that you make the right choice for you all you have to do is be honest and let him know what you are looking for. Dale is not your average advisor, he actually cares about what his clients wants. He told me that once I get into a Mercedes, I will never go back to any other brand, and I have to say, he is right! I am in absolute love with my car. Thank you Dale, you have a customer for life. I arrived at the dealership to look into purchasing a Certified Used Mercedes I was driving a very clean 98 E320. I was the second owner of this vehicle and was very fond of it even though it was gettin Certified Used Mercedes I was driving a very clean 98 E320. I was the second owner of this vehicle and was very fond of it even though it was getting up there in mileage. I viewed a 2007 C280 for what I thought was a good price listed on the website (later I found the same vehicle with less mileage for up to $3,000.00 less) Dale contacted me and I made an appointment to look at it. I asked to look at a couple of used E class vehicles I also saw online but they were not there to view, yet they are still showing online. I ended up purchasing the C class and a couple days after taking the car home I was contacted by Dale telling me that the rate I was approved for and terms did not apply to this vehicle because of the year of the vehicle. Neither Dale nor Robert Tanner told me that at the time of the sale. So even though it was a small amount it did add an addition $17.00 a month to the payment. I can say that Dale worked hard to get this corrected and did get it corrected as they were able to lower the price of the vehicle to adjust the monthly payment back to what I had agreed upon. So I can say that they did work to make it right but I fear if I had just said okay when I was first told there was an increase in the finance percent nothing would have been done to correct it. My overall experience with the staff is very high and I thank them for what they do. But just a warning for those of you who have owned an E class and decide to trade it in, the 98 E class I had far out drove the 2007 C280 I purchased, it was smoother, the engine was quieter, the options made it much more enjoyable to drive. In my opinion the C class is similar to driving an average mid class car and the interior seems more plastic than luxury. But it is what it is a decent car for the price but don’t expect the same experience you had with a higher class Mercedes. More

Dale was terrific. Very friendly and worked well with me when I would contact him at all hours. It is difficult to find a Mercedes Convertible and he was on it searching and contacting until we found what when I would contact him at all hours. Short and sweet version: best ever experience purchasing anything ever. From start to finish, middle and even after all the paperwork was signed. Long version: I was originally thinking about getting a bus pass. Portland’s transit system is top notch, I love it. But I needed some more flexibility for my small home-based business. I took a quick peek at the smart car prices. There was a special lease deal on the base model of $99/mo. I picked up the phone and called the smart center at the Mercedes showroom downtown. I was lucky enough to get Dale Acelar on the phone. He talked to me for a few minutes and understood my concerns. He was so enthusiastic about helping me that I decided to come in sooner than later for a test drive even though I thought I’d need to wait a few months to purchase/lease. When I met Dale at the showroom, I was thrilled to meet the same helpful guy in person I spoke to on the phone. I’m not a “Mercedes” driver. Did you know that smart is designed by Swatch and built by Mercedes? Dale immediately put me at ease in this high end space and he was fun and calm on our test drive. As a salesman, of course he made sure I knew that the version of smart (ice shine) I fell in love with was limited in quantity. ;) I needed to act fast. Actually, over the next week, he needed to act fast! Dale and the entire staff at Mercedes worked for a week straight to get me my baby, Oliver. I was so thankful that the day after I picked him up, I took the dealership a baby shower for little Ollie! It was my best day EVER! If you see Oliver and me out driving around, make sure to say hi! I love the car more than I ever dreamed. He is so smart, he’s just perfect for me! Thanks for everything, Dale and team!!! <3 More

I had supreme, out of this world service from the best car dealer in the universe, Dale Acelar. From the very beginning, upon expressing a desire for a SMART but believing it was not an option for me, Da car dealer in the universe, Dale Acelar. From the very beginning, upon expressing a desire for a SMART but believing it was not an option for me, Dale was calm, realistic, honest, and trust worthy. He arranged a fantastic test drive and allowed me to really become familiar with the vehicle. While on my test drive he found a spectacular one of a kind 2013 SMART Passion coupe model that was far superior to the one I was driving, with super duper upgrade options and cost less money than the model I was test driving. Throughout the entire process Dale kept me informed and taught me about numerous awesome parts of the SMART. Every time I sit behind the driver seat I am reminded how happy I am being a SMART car owner. It is so easy to park. It has a banging stereo system. I recently drove 317 miles on 7.1 gallons of gas. This entire experience could not be easier and more stress free. I'm thankful to have gone to Dale, would most certainly and with assurance recommend him to anyone interested in a new Mercedes/SMART, would definitely return to him for another vehicle at a later date and know I would be completely taken care of. Dale Acelar is a born salesman, but more importantly he is a phenomenal employee with an innate way of knowing the right car for the right customer. Friday was the first time visited the dealership, and it is my favorite dealership. Dale Acelar made the experience a most memorable one.
