Just leased a 2023 Cadillac XT6 from this dealership. We were told by the salesman initially that there was no equity in our current car (which we knew there was positive equity). We negotiated for an hour and reached an agreement that amounted to $7000.00 in equity in for our trade in. The salesman said we would get the check in 2-3 days. The General Sales manager said the same. The fiancé employee said we would get the check the following day when we pick up the Cadillac. We are going on day 15 now and no check in site. The General Manager informed me that he knows his policy and doesn't believe that his employees told us that information. Their Policy, which was never explained to us, nor would we have access to review it, is that when they get the Title for the trade, they will cut the check. This if known by us, would have caused us to go elsewhere. It said that we may have misunderstood what the employees told us, "You'll get the check in 2-3 days, you'll get the check in hand tomorrow." This has been a dismal experience for us. We were with Land Rover since 2014 and were thinking XT6 or MDX Type S. We are regretting our decision and the time spent doing all the leg work trying to locate our check. The General Manager is going to have a conference with the three employees on our issue. We know how that's going to get manipulated for their benefit and we will appear as misunderstood. General Manager also said that Jake Kaplan has only 3 dealerships and that Herb Chamber has over 40. I told Neil (GM) quality over quantity when it comes to us. Be cautious if you go to this dealership. Ask for all of their Policies and Procedures as they won't inform you on much. More

In November, My husband and I walked into this dealership to inquire about the New 2021 Escalade. We spoke to sales person Bethanie who explained that the SUV had to be ordered and if we ordered we would get to inquire about the New 2021 Escalade. We spoke to sales person Bethanie who explained that the SUV had to be ordered and if we ordered we would get by February the latest. So, we sat down with Neil and ordered the Cadillac to our preference. March came and I contacted Bethanie because I hadn’t heard from her or the dealership regarding our soon to be new car. Bethanie explained that due to manufacturing and covid our SUV was taking longer. On March 10 we walked into the dealership to get a more accurate status on the vehicle. Spoke to Sales Manager Leo who explained the inconvenience but who suggested a Platinum Escalade that was going to be available within the coming weeks. The difference from that one and the one we ordered was the interior. But we agreed on it anyways. I came home and emailed Bethanie about accepting the vehicle. March 22 we heard again from Bethanie she wanted us to come sign off the vehicle before it got there. We didn’t want to sign anything before seeing the actual car so told her to call or email when the vehicle came in. March 27 she emailed to say our original ordered truck came in before the Platinum. I was excites because it was what we wanted. So I go to the dealership to see the vehicle and it was a disappointment. It wasn’t what we ordered!! Than Bethanie comment when I said it wasn’t ours was. “Well it came with your name on it so you take it or take your money back” what a j*rk!! It wasn’t even about the money. It’s about the time spent waiting for a specific vehicle you actually want and customize to your preference. So when I asked about the platinum she told me it was sold. I asked to speak to management. Leo came and offered to find me a swap. He never did or tried. Guess what I had to do. Search for the Cadillac I wanted. & I found the one at Fairfields Cadillac in NH. 2 and half hours away from my home. But those people where amazing. They held the Cadillac for me to come see it. & within 3 days I was able to have it home. This Bethanie lady only cared about her commission at the end of the month. Not what the customer wanted. More
