My vehicle went into Hyundai's Service for a typical oil change and tire rotation service. The next day the oil and engine light came on where I called the service center immediately. I was told to bring it change and tire rotation service. The next day the oil and engine light came on where I called the service center immediately. I was told to bring it in the next morning even though the car engine wasn't sounding good. I dropped it off and was left with they will check it out and get back and a loaner car. When I returned I noticed oil on the ground that apparently came out as I was driving my vehicle to the service. center, it trailed from the parking lot all the way up the street. I tried to call Hyundai to find out what they had found out with my vehicle the next day and then 2 days after that where nobody returned my call. I wanted to also let them know there was all of this oil that came out of my vehicle. I finally got a call back from the service manager, a week after the 2nd drop off. My car was there for a week and nobody contacted me. When I finally spoke to the service manager, who was the person I spoke to when I dropped the car off a week prior, I told him about the oil and I sent him photos. He was nice enough but the communication between the dealerships service is next to none. Another week goes by and I filed a report with Hyundai s Consumer Affairs. They gave me an escalation number and provided me a liaison, this was 5 days ago. In the meantime I was just n touch through text with the service manager who said they were putting a new engine in my vehicle. I still have no idea why, and I want an explanation of their diagnosis. I requested between both parties all documentation, photos and a full explanation. I want to know why I brought my vehicle in for regular maintenance and am now being told they are replacing my engine and why they think that is the better option than replacing my 8 month old vehicle with 8500 miles on it. More

I purchased a new $60,000 Hyundai Calligraphy and the dealership took over 45 days to process my title. My temporary license plate tag expired after 30 days.
