Dropped my car off Monday evening for service the next day. Got a video sent to my boyfriend’s cell phone, even though I had my phone on the service request. Waited to hear from Tom, finally called him day. Got a video sent to my boyfriend’s cell phone, even though I had my phone on the service request. Waited to hear from Tom, finally called him to discuss service/pricing. He hadn’t gotten numbers from parts and was going to call m back. When he called me back, and we decided what services would be done, (original estimate was around $6000 for my 2013 Camry)), he said they didn’t have the part needed and it would be two days. I needed my car by Wednesday night so he got with the parts dept and said they would have the part overnighted and would probably get it Weds morning so I could get the card Weds evening. I asked him to please call me Weds morning to let me know if they got the part because I would need to make other arrangements for a car on Thursday if mine wouldn’t be ready. He said he would call Weds morning when the part came in. I finally called him Weds afternoon about 3:15 because I hadn’t heard if the part had come in and he checked and told me they indeed had the part and the car would be ready. I appreciate the efforts in getting my car back to me (at a cost of almost $3000) but I expected a bit more communication… The last time I needed major work done on this car was in 2020…and I bought a 2020 Camry from you. When I went to pick up my car this time, I walked through the showroom — I’m thinking of getting a RAV4, walked all around and didn’t see one, walked outside and saw a few used….kind of surprising that I was not approached by anyone from sales… More
