Thank you for reaching out. The issue I have is with the steering. Since the day I bought the car, it wanders all over the road; it's impossible to hold it in a straight line. It's not a violent movement, it's fairly gradual, but it means I'm constantly having to steer the car to keep it in its lane. When I brought it in once and asked about checking the steering to see what the problem was I was told that the labor to check that out could run into the thousand of dollars as it wasn't covered under warranty. It they found a problem, the repairs would be covered by warranty, but doing the inspection to try to locate the problem was not covered. While that doesn't seem like much of a warranty to me, I don't have thousands to spare, so I didn't proceed. Then came Covid and now the car is out of warranty. And it still has the problem. I've had the alignment checked twice at other shops and both places said the alignment was fine. I had the alignment checked at this last visit and they performed an alignment even though there really wasn't much reason to from what I could tell from the paperwork. That didn't solve the problem and I did want to talk to the mechanic about it and maybe go for a test drive, but the way your shop is situated, there really isn't any direct contact with the mechanic. I did see the mechanic take it out for a test drive, but I wasn't offered the chance to go with him. So that's my complaint and if there's anything you can do to help solve the issue with my car I'd appreciate it. I still don't have thousands to spend on the problem and I'm wondering if any other CR-Z's have had this issue. It didn't seem right to me that checking out the issue wasn't covered under warranty, but I was told that's just how it is, so having a warranty on a new car seems pretty selective...the problem is covered, but not the labor to identify it. In no way do I want this to reflect on Amy. She was very helpful and polite and professional. Please let me know if there's anything that you can do to help resolve this. Thanks. Annette
