Found a fairly priced 2008 Mazda 3 sedan online. Visited the dealership, met a young salesman who was very eager to show me the car. Took me for a great test drive, really did not pressure me at all. The car drove very well, had no issues at all and was under warranty (2008 car which I did purchase in 2010) I did have a car to trade in and the salesman got it appraised. I had already gone and checked the value online via Keelys black book (which BTW the dealers do use) and was quoted below the min amount. I had a car which did need some work and honestly told them I would accept a certain amount (which was the min. amount from Kelley) and that another Mazda dealership (Mazda Fairview) had offered. They quickly realized I came prepared and did my homework and gave me my price.
Finance person was very pushy and I did not appreciate his sleazy pressure sales tactics to buy the extend warranty. The car had 3 years remaining (included 1.5 bumper to bumper) and he failed to show me the value of the extended warranty. Now for the next part which is the best part, he offered me rust proofing (Krown) special price of 549$ plus tx! I whipped out my smartphone and showed him that I can go to a Krown partner and get it for 399$ tx in. I asked him if he could match it, and guess what, he did.
I picked up the car a few days later and it was in great shape, it was even detailed. The only thing I remember now is that the car came with Mazda mats when I did the test drive but were missing this day. I did not want to fight it and left. They did have a salesman explain all the fatures of the car. Everyone was very polite. However buyer beware as they will try to sell you everything under the sun that you really do not need. For that point, I cannot really recommend this dealership. The only person I would deal with is that young salesguy who did not pressure me at all and was very nice, and genuinely friendly. Unlike the others.

The sales person was super friendly before the sale, and everyone throughout the process was extremely friendly. My husband and I really felt like, even though they wouldn't negotiate on the used car we were buying, the service was worth it.
BUT once the paperwork was signed and financing was approved, we discovered that the "extended warranty" that he clearly stated was still good, was in fact EXPIRED according to our Audi dealer when we took the car in for our check-up! Upon repeated calls and emails, the sales person at Mazda at first said that it was Audi's fault for misinforming them when they received the car, and he made promises to make us happy. To make it right. Then he changed his story and told me and my husband that we misunderstood them about the warranty! They then promised to give us a deal on a Mazda extended warranty for the mess-up, and they delayed an update stating that they are working on the paperwork. Then he was on vacation, then his boss was on vacation.... And when we did get an email back, it was to say he is sorry for the delay but still working on the paperwork. Repeated follow-ups and calls later always leaving messages, no one ever answered. When we finally were able to reach the Sales Director, he claimed that the sale was complete and the file "closed". The absolute worst after-sale experience ever! The most dishonest group of people. All they want is your money. Empty promises! By far the worst dealer we have experienced in our lives! Be warned.
