the service department is the worst I've ever dealt with,. service manager is a pompous xxx and is very condescending and talks down at people especially to my wife when she unfortunately has to deal with Jason and the other older fellow at the desk. Trying to get warranty work done there is just a terrible experience no one cares and you get jerked around by the staff at the desk. no one answers the phone and when you do leave a message you might get called back in a week but more than likely you won't. No wonder they are rated so poorly. every experience with the service department has been atrocious i tell every one i can not to buy a honda for the sole reason of having to deal with service department .I've called and filed complaints with honda canada but they are independently owned so nothing is going to be done. Do Not Buy a Vehicle from this dealership ever.

I recently bought a 1995 BMW from a private seller and needed an appraisal the same day. Went into Gorruds without an appointment and was out of there in 10 minutes or less - free of charge (normally it cost $50-100). Im a 21 year old student who doesn't have a lot of money to spend so having them help me out like that was incredible. 10/10 would recommend for quality and fast service.

BE CAREFUL. After my DIscovery was in for service, they charged my credit card $900 for damage to a returned rental they later learned was caused by a previous customer. They were more concerned about their Customer Service Satisfaction Survey score than actual customer service satisfaction. It wasn't really a luxury brand experience.

I had the worst service experience I’ve ever had in 20 years of driving at this place. Completely disrespected and taken advantage of by the service team here, and when I asked to speak to the service manager, Roger, he was the worst of them all. While trying to diplomatically and calmly explain my problem, he repeatedly interrupted me and talked over me to make excuses and say his piece, never actually letting me plead my case. I’m embarrassed to admit that eventually I couldn’t take it anymore and allowed myself to be dragged down to his level, cutting him off and trying to talk over him, desperate to get a word in. I regret this because I endeavour to treat everyone with respect, regardless of who they are, but this man’s complete lack of respect for me, and condescending attitude were just too much to handle. When I tried to make a comment about my customer service experience he interrupted me again to inform me he had 40 years of experience, and he knows customer service better than I do. Honestly shameful that someone working in this business that long treats paying customers this way. When the dust had settled I actually apologized to him for losing my cool, and calmly asked if he could at least see where I was coming from, and he said “not at all, you make absolutely no sense.” All of this regarding a repair on an issue that has existed since I bought a $110,000 F150 from this very dealership, with all extended service and warranty coverage packages, and they wouldn’t help me at all. My advice is to avoid purchasing bonus coverage on your vehicles if you buy from this dealership, and to go anywhere else for service, because Roger doesn’t care about you, nor does he care about your vehicle, and he isn’t accountable to anyone but himself, as he confidently told me more than once

Very good sales people. Helpful patient and curtious. Service dept. Is the worst that I have used. Service manager is good. Battery was dead after a few hours of charging got it going bought $435. Battery but they wouldn't install it for 4 more days even after I said it was a breakdown We live in the country and needed the car. Saved $40. And did it myself

I recently called to purchase an oil filter for for 2021 Kia K5. Upon speaking to the receptionist she advised parts closes at 5pm. I spoke to parts and explained I knew they closed at 5pm, but could the filter be left with reception so I can buy it after work as I was working till 5pm. Upon arriving at the dealership it was apparent they close early on fridays! This wasn’t explained to me over the phone. The employee in the lot leaving tried calling the manager but wasn’t willing to swing back to help. The employee said he would make arrangements to drop it off at my work as it was close by. No call, no arrangements. 4 days go by and nothing! I called and again made the arrangements & upon getting there they still made me pay for the oil filter! I will never recommend nor use this dealership for anything! Poor service Poor communication & certainly Poor customer service!

Stopped at dealership as my pre collision system alarm came on and my cruise control would not function. Mechanic came out and checked. He asked if we had hit anything on our trip to New Brunswick nd i told him we hit a partridge yesterday and showed him where. Right under the front license plate where the sensor is. Bracket was broken. They were too busy to fix but a big thumbs up for taking the 5 minutes out of their very busy 2 mechanic garage schedule! Thanks Guays Garage for superb service!!

There is an important difference between profiteering and natural inflationary price increases. $180 for a tire swap (on rims) and an oil change is absolutely ridiculous. Their efforts to justify the cost is even more comical. Ask any mechanic at a garage and they'll laugh at this cost. Don't waste your time here.

This VW dealership is going from poor to very bad in terms of customer experience. The communication between staff members, service crew and customer is always poor and confusing to customer. I always get the feeling that they only care for making money and seem arrogant and careless when challenged. The time they service the vehicle is always the longest I've ever experienced from a dealership. I've had left the service in the past with the vehicle issue unresolved and had to go back (a week later) and payed for an evaluation again. Just bad experience overall and I have owned VW vehicles for the past 8 years.

Brought car in for transmission stalling issues (car wouldn't go over 3000RPM). Apparently, the "experienced mechanic" took the car out and found no issues. Diagnostics were run on car with no issues found. Four hours later after I made the call to see what was going on, I was told that the "knowledgeable" Supervisor said it was because the car mats were stuck under the gas pedal. (I always pull my car mats back in place before I get in). So for all this xx I had to pay $75 and the car is STILL doing the same thing that I brought it in for. Only bonus of the whole experience was Pat. Very friendly.

The service department is horrible.. Brought in our Kia to get the control rods and ball joints replaced. We had the car serviced a week and a half earlier at Windsor Hyundai where they did point out the issue of the compromised ball joints but was able to do the wheel alignment and brought all the alignment true with the exception of the L/R camber which was out by 0.5 within exceptable limits. So when we brought in our car to Kia with replacement parts they one overcharged us on the total repair time but the worse of it is that after replacing the control rods and ball joints they threw out the alignment to a point prior when it was even touched for the first time. Windsor Hyundai got the alignment almost true on bad ball joints. Gus Revenberg Kia completely screwed the alignment after replacing the control rods and ball joints to a point prior to the suspension was even touched. They used a completely xxxxxxxx excuse for this reason.... Avoid these jokers at all costs... we're grugingly going back to Windsor Hyundai till I can find a honest competant mechanic.

My auto body shop sent me to Gyro Hyundai to have the Blind Spot Detection sensor recalibrated after an accident. Despite Gyro being told by the body shop that I’d be leaving the car for the day, I said I needed the car in 2 hours and would wait, or return another day. Fuad and the service tech were very accommodating! Car was done in 2 hours. Fuad is a very friendly and positive ambassador for Gyro Hyundai and deserves kudos for his customer service focus!

Came to Gyro with brake issue CX5. 2 days later get text to press button to authorize repairs and “issues” they found, for $9k +taxes. Not one item related to brakes. Stated problems with coil/plugs, totalling over $700. Stated new battery needed $315; stated Front Camera needs to be replaced, $2100; states new bushing needed - went back to dealership and showed them invoice Green/Ross 5 months ago showing new coil/plugs/battery; next day get “revised” list with coil/plugs gone and now other “issues” found so bill now $10k; get called by Sales team recommending “not worth to put $10k in this car , we have amazing deals… in addition, previous owner was receiving texts and emails of these private transactions. Took car back to Green/Ross who showed me the battery they put in testing like new; said and showed me that front camera was working fine; and that rear bushings not urgent and could last. All I could think of is how many customers would have pressed Yes to authorize thousands of dollars of not just unnecessary repairs but getting caught so blatantly in multiple deceptions.

Only got one star because there wasn’t a zero. Hal Wrights dealership is by far one of the least professional local businesses we have ever dealt with. After far to many negative experiences after purchasing our first new vehicle, and returning for recalls with them I have observed very low morale amongst employees in service. The result of this has been little to no positive customer care and service. There is no accountability for thier mistakes. The is arrogant behaviour in management positions. Many years in professional positions has taught me that these behaviours come from the top. Their lack of integrity and values goes against the man who actually built this business. Hal Wright. And perhaps this is the difference in building a business or having it built for you. My hope is that the current owner will take these many poor reviews seriously. Be aware of the many many local GM owners who go out of town for purchases and service. AND make the changes that need to happen to make this an establishment they can be proud of.
