Sales is Nice !! Service Center is a Rip Off - jaydeep_makwana
Sales people are very friendly and makes your experience nice to buy new cars.
However total RIP off on servicing ! Non- Technical, unprofessional and Patronising service advisors/managers.
Beware !! new car owners servicing at this center.
Charged 730 dollars for brake servicing (due every 24000kms ) which took less than 3 hours without any visible or driving difference. They didn't even bothered to clean the brakes. Hardly doubt they did any kind of work.
They will just keep on insisting and scare you for the extra stuffs needed along with servicing e.g. cabin filters change, brakes servicing etc.
My new Tucson - Heather
I was very happy and satisfied with the purchasing experience of my new Tucson. Eric and Vincent we super professional and fast. I am always short on time and they did not waste it for me. My traded in Sante Fe was a good experience and I love all the new features in the 2019 Tucson like Blue link and Android Auto.
Engine recall caused havoc away from home, but Myers helped! - Kaindow_867
This is our 4th Hyundai, i've never had an issue with any of my Hyundai SUV/Cars, until recently, when my engine siezed in Hamilton . This was a huge issue as it broke down on the highway, I had to call roadside assistance which messed EVERYTHING up and I ended up having my car towed and impounded by the police. I wasn't getting much help from the dealer in Hamilton, I called Myers (my Ottawa dealer) and Glenn (service) and Mustafa (GM) assisted me in obtaining my car, assisting me with dealing with the Hamilton dealership and obtaining a loaner for me when i returned to Ottawa (typically the local dealer would provide the loaner but they weren't budging!) .... I wouldn't purchase a car anywhere else. That kind of kindness and support is rare and ensures a long time customer stays one.
Scammers - NotImpressed
I went to trade in my Nissan Sentra that I still owed $6000 on. I was told by the finance guy that the balance left owing on my old car would be “taken care of” (in my head, meaning they were going to basically give me what I owed towards the new car). Well I call today, over 2 years later and come to find out that it was not “taken care of”. They paid $2000 for my old car and rolled the $4000 into my new contract. I do know that this is usually how it works, so when I was originally told it would be taken care of, I was surprised, but I was impressed and went ahead and signed everything (trusting what the finance guy had just told me, I stupidly didn’t read through the contract properly). I just called for clarification on what would would happen to this loan since I was in an accident the other day, and the finance guy, Chris was very short with me. He was very impatient and acting like I had inconvenienced him by simply trying to understand what was going on. He got defensive before I even figured things out, and then told me he would help me get a new car and “take care” of this loan. xxxx no Chris... you lied to me the first time, but I’m smarter now and I will never ever do business there again.
Nice from the outside, Terrible on the Inside - Pat163
Overall bad buying experience. My first visit was good; I was greeted promptly and offered a test drive. Once it came time to go through the buying process it got BAD. For one, If you meet someone by the name of Jean Richard, walk away or ask to speak to someone else. He was very condescending and arrogant and after I realized so many people on reviews had a bad experience with him, its obvious that Hyundai Hull doesn't do anything about these complaints since he’s still doing what others have complained about today. On another attempt with another Manager, I asked 4 times to negotiate the full price of the car instead of the payments but he refused my request and kept to his obvious up-selling techniques. Once I finally accepted an offer, I was pushed into an office for 30 minutes where they did their best to make me spend more on their warranty options. It took multiple times for me to say I’m not interested before they gave up. Buyers beware, if you have a hard time negotiating or sticking to your budget, they will use all the tricks to up-sell you your car. This experience made me realise how getting rid of dealerships as middle-men is a great idea and I only hope my next car can be done online, directly through the manufacturer. Goodbye Hyundai HULL, I will never recommend you.
