We are from the plan again and dealt with the Coquitlam dealership through email and texting. It was seamless and very pleasant. They took our vehicle in on trade and when we arrived to pick our new outback up we were in and out of the dealership in less than an hour and heading back home. After being in a fairly serious accident with my 2013 Forester, my husband and I were in the market for a new car. I walked away from that accident a little rattled but other wise unscathed. I told my husband, "I want another Subaru." My husband is a researcher and started to look at vehicles online. Long story short, we had. a narrow window (one day) to test drive and purchase a vehicle, which is never ideal. Having been to a few other dealerships in the morning, Subaru of Nanaimo instantly had a different feel. We were greeted by Richard Charley, who even under a mask we could sense his genuine smile. Despite the busy hum around us, Richard made us his priority. He listened to our story and our needs and in the end set us up with a beautiful 2017 Forester that arrived on the lot pretty much the same time we did. Call that serendipitous! As the car was being serviced, we took care of the paper work and drove away feeling like we got a good deal, and extended our family. We will be a costumer of Richard and Subaru of Nanaimo for life. Shout out to Brett, the sales manager, who went out on a limb for a couple North Islanders. A box of smoked salmon will be delivered your way net time we're down! Thank you!

Thank you for both resolving the issue with the brand new Crosstrek I bought from another dealership which they couldn't resolve at all (hint hint *Richmond). You took the time to make sure the car was properly diagnosed and you made sure the issue was completely resolved. I saw the service notes and WOW! the due diligence you took to ensure the car was tested was truly worth noting. Thank you again - you both deserve all the praise.

The JP Scion’s Service Department is awesome!! I took my Subaru BRZ (mechanically identical to the Scion FR-S) in for an oil change today. The service techs notice rodent droppings in the engine bay (I park outside, no choice), and clean the entire engine bay for me free of charge. I was very happily surprise when I got home, popped the hood, and noticed how sparking clean the engine bay is. I did not expect them to do that. That is service way above and beyond my expectations. The prices are also very reasonable, much, much less than what Don Docksteader Subaru charged me for the same oil change. I also appreciate the free ride Downtown. Thanks JP Scion, you’ve earned yourself a repeat customer.

Have only been in here twice for oil filters for my Mazda 3 but both times the parts guy was unfriendly, and even though it was not busy I had to wait a long time. The first time they gave me the wrong oil filters. Not impressed.
