Brought my glc 300 in for a sunroof concern. Turns out it... - Trailhawk Jamie
Brought my glc 300 in for a sunroof concern. Turns out it was not covered under warranty and was told it would be about $10,000 to repair. Was charge a half hour for diag, so the tech could touch the button and say it need a full sunroof. He left the sunroof tilted up and taped it over(was closed when it was brought in). I talked with the service manager and was told that nothing is replaceable and it would need the whole assembly and if they broke the glass transferring it, I had to pay for it. The service manager than called back to say that the assembly was a worst case scenario and the tech would have to remove the headliner to actually diagnose it. And that some of the parts are covered under the warranty. I went to the vehicle and within 5 minutes I had the sunroof closed and the tape removed. They offered no apology or incentive for me to bring .y vehicle back. This was the third time I was there for repairs. First time the tech lost a clip and vehicle was there for 3 days. Second time, the tech broke my window and we had to leave it there while they ordered a window and fixed it. The worst experience we have ever had with any vehicle manufacturer. We are selling our Mercedes and will never return to lone star or but another Mercedes.
Never again - will most likely sue the dealership... - r.j.hollingworth
Never again - will most likely sue the dealership
After bringing my car here for an airbag service recall my steering wheel had sustained serious damage caused by the technicians who did the work
They didn't tell me before hand that my beloved Mercedes Benz would be damaged, nor did I sign any kind of damage waiver
The metal trim around the steering wheel was left sharp and jagged and incorrectly installed, and holes were left in the steering wheel cover. I actually injured my hand on the jagged parts
Their Asst. Service Manager admitted and accepted responsibility for the damage and promised to fix the steering wheel trim and the cover - see texts photo.
They replaced the trim, but then refused to fix the holes claiming "oh well nothing we can do its part of the procedure" and "go ahead, take us to court"
My advice? There are plenty of OTHER good Mercedes dealers in the area, I suggest you pick one.
Incredible service - Matt Sellers
The service is incredible.
I had my front driver-side redone after I was side-swiped (which was all great) and then there was a bad shake when I drove above 100k. I took it back in and they got it into the shop immediately. It turned out it was just dirt buildup but they cleaned it up, re-balanced the tires, adjusted the alignment, and corrected tire pressure. Oh, and my window had come off the guides (not related to the accident) and they put it back on. All of it for free. These guys stand by their work and really seemed to care.

Be careful when buying any demo or used cars from them... - tianshum
Be careful when buying any demo or used cars from them especially if you do not live in Calgary. Their customer service is beyond lackluster towards those not currently residing within the city. I paid $41,282 to buy a 2020 BENZ GlA 250 demo car from them on July 7th 2020 and I live in Toronto. Firstly they told me the car would be delivered to a Mercedes(MB) dealership near my home however my car was actually delivered to a random parking lot over 50 KM from my house. When I went there to pick up my car, I found many scuffs and scratches on the car’s body and a lot of dirty brake dust in all four rims. I contacted sales immediately on the same day and he told me I can claim a reimbursement of my vehicle from the vehicle relocation company. Then I tried to claim it from a vehicle relocation company and received their inspection report with signatures from MB staff in MB Calgary stating that they too have noticed these problems when checking over my car. That means MB Calgary knew the condition of the vehicle was not up to standards yet still delivered it to me as a new(demo) car. From my understanding, a demo car should be like a new car and at least the car’s body should appear to be like a new car. My insurance company checked this car’s record and told me this car is a demo car and charged me the rate as a new car. However, when I contacted MB Calgary to help me fix my car, they have done nothing to help me. I have both called and emailed Vehicle inspection report to their customer experience manager and he told me he cannot help and instead redirected me to poo sales. Then I called sales again for help and the department began ignoring my phone number. It looks like they have no customer service after they sold the car to me. The overall experience feels very similar to a scam. It is clear with the reports sent to me that they were aware there were some problems with their car body but they still sent it to me because they think I am out of Calgary and therefore cannot go to them directly. After the payment was given to them, I received no communication with the dealership from that point forward. This situation has left me both angry and in disbelief. I will set up similar reviews on RedFlag and similar websites to show an inspection report from a car relocation company to prove my claim.
2 yrs honest experience - Chintan Patel
- Staff: Staff is very nice and friendly, very best experience when I first purchased brand new GLC 300 in 2017.
- Car: Been through many recalls, frustrated when engine had an issue within 1 yr. Brand new 2017 model didnt have remote starter- stating security reason. In 2018- there is remote starter!! where is security now?
- Dealership: If u r fan of mercedes- go to south Edmonton. If u just wanna buy fully equipped car - go to different company. Reason: I have done 3-4 visits to west dealer - never provided loan car. Shuttle service has very limited time frame. I dont live in Edmonton so whenever I come to city I have some other errands too. Now u expect that such big dealer has few cars to spare for their customers but NO u r wrong. They dont have loan car. Shuttle cant provide service after 4:30. In short u r screwed.
Summary: Mercedes - huge brand. Riding mercedes is an experience. Only thing is, keep ur expectation low when u buy brand new car. U will receive good welcoming from staff though.
My first visit as an out of town customer and was... - rickoosterman
My first visit as an out of town customer and was impressed. Started with the service dept. opening the door for me early as i drove 4.5 hours to get there...not scolded for using the service doors as the other dealer. The service team took note that i had to wait as i was far from home and eager to travel back before bad weather set in. Communication was clear and precise and service was carried out with recommendations included. I will be back to this dealership for more service.
