So to add to this review: My plate renewal just came up and I went to get the new stickers. The lady at Service Ontario asked if it was a commercial vehicle and I told her it was a personal vehicle. She stated that it was registered as a commercial vehicle. So Oshawa Honda messed up the registration as well as the safety. I will advise every buyer (new and used) to double and triple check every bit of documentation that this dealership provides. Had the person at Service Ontario not noticed and asked I would have paid double for my license plate renewal every year.

Hello, we're very sorry that you drove such a distance only to be disappointed that the vehicle you had come to see had sold. We have always felt that first-come, first served to the store was the fairest way to deal with our customers - unless they decided to put a deposit against a particular car and hold it, which we offer to all of our customers. In your particular case, there was no deposit involved, and Iffy was very concerned that the car you had called on had sold 20 minutes after you called, and actually sent an e-mail to all the Sales Managers asking if anyone had your number to call you back to inform you, but we did not have a contact number for you. We certainly should have asked for your number the first time just in case, and for this we must truly apologize. Our Sales Manager Chris asked if you were interested in other Odysseys we might have on the lot, but you were very understandably upset and declined. Perhaps the situation cannot be mended at this point, but we would still like to offer you the opportunity to have us drive any vehicle you are interested in out to your location so that we hopefully make up the lost time - we truly owe you that. No obligations on your part, but we really do value people's time, and yours was unintentionally wasted, so we would like to make it up to you by driving any vehicle which may hold some interest for you out to you to test drive. Sincere apologies again.

What makes this all the more ridiculous is the half-winded apology you have managed to have someone write for you. You have missed all of the key points in my original post, the most important being that I ASKED if I could give a credit card for a deposit on the phone with the sales manager Iftikhar, before I drove out to see the vehicle and he told me that that wouldn't be needed. As for the line about the vehicle selling 20 minutes after I called - I was told that it was sold 20 minutes before I arrived at the dealership (a difference of about 3 hours - trivial detail). And as for the phone number - I saw the phone system at the dealership - this type of system shows and records the last 100 phone numbers called in, so if it was really important, I'm sure there would have been a way to find out - besides a proper appointment should have a full name and contact information written down at the time of the call. Chris did not offer any kind of an apology whatsoever or to view any of the other Odysseys in stock, just a meek shrug of his shoulders. John Biglow (General Manager) watched this whole event transpire and fall apart from behind the window of an office, instead of coming out to face the issue and customer, to see if an alternative could be found. I was visibly upset and really shocked that a General Manager and Sales Manager would let a customer storm off like that. I have worked in the Automotive dealership world for over 25 years, so I know the ins and outs of dealerships, never in that time would I have expected to be treated this poorly. There really is no need to drive a vehicle out to me to test drive ect. I purchased a beautiful Odyssey from another dealer 2 days later and am very happy with it. Oh yeah and by the way - the Van I tried to purchase from your dealer is still listed for sale on your website (9 days later) - you've done your due diligence by removing the pictures and taking it off Autotrader, however, you should have changed the stock number, colour and kilometers also. Come to think of it now, I don't understand why this whole process even happened if you didn't even end up selling the vehicle as you said you did. Feels like some kind of discrimination if you ask me. Still Very Disappointed!!!
